I wish I knew this existed years ago!
Absolutely a game-changer for me.I've a multitude of exotic plants which use, you guessed it, a multitude of grow lights. I've always used the manual timers which are great, but they only accept a single cord. Plus, the size was small but shaped in that it covered the other outlet on the wall making it unusable, so space was an issue. This device allows me to use all of my lights(in the nearby area at least) with just one timer. Additionally, for the four outlets that are always on? I have 'regular' lamps, heating pads, et cetera that need no timer, so perfect. More pros: the cord for the device to plug in is very long, which is convenient for saving space. Cons? None! Aside from wishing I had one years ago when I was running three large and elaborate(filters, heaters, air pumps, lights and so forth) aquariums, hahaha.I'd seen a couple of reviews where people struggled to understand how setting the timer was accomplished. No judgement, but I found doing so to be very simple and it only took about thirty seconds to adjust to my on-off cycle. Additionally, the instructions provided clarified any potential questions immediately. This device is surprisingly inexpensive(I'd have paid forty bucks for it), easy to set up, can be used for a variety of purposes, very quiet(to the point where I had to check and see if the timer wheel was even moving), AND it only plugs into one outlet so that the other on the wall is free to use for whatever you desire.Five stars, baby. When I'm eventually able to move to somewhere again that has the space for all of my horticultural collection and various critters? I reckon I'll be using three of these.

Lights now go on very reliably!
I purchased two of these as timers for my plant lights and they worked perfectly. I needed to connect more than two lights to them, plus regular ‘always on’ appliances. These were the only surge protectors that were capable of plugging more than two items that needed timers. I purchased a third one for another bank of lights but the timing function did not work correctly so it’s going back. I have not had them all for very long so I can’t speak to their longevity but for now I’m very happy with them.

1 of 2 work
After getting 1 of these and loving it, I bought a 2nd. Lights on timers is crucial for flowers. Both sides power but the timer doesn't work on the 2nd one. It just doesn't catch the tab as the clock rotates to trigger it on. Found this out the hard way after I thought everything was on auto pilot. It is a great idea, 1 works flawless and I like it. The other is just a power strip at this point. I plugged a regular timer into it and moved on. 50% odds of it working as it should aren't very good odds. May be a fluke, but I won't chance it again. Back to standard timers for me.Overall, if u get 1 that works you'll love it. If u get a faulty one it can ruin your project. That said, I wouldn't recommend these at this time.Edit: the other one now broke. Waste of money. Buy a cheap timer or like me I've moved onto digital timers. I can have these things screwing up my light cycle on plants. What I thought was a great idea, and is, the timers don't work for more than cpl months. Stay away from this product or u just get an expensive power strip.I'll say it'd be nice if the company read this and reimbursed me for them (2), but won't hold my breath

Easy to use & reliable
This is my second time buying this power strip. I use them to run grow lights for houseplants. The fancy WiFi, voice controlled, or digital outlets don’t beat the traditional mechanical timer. They don’t care if the WiFi goes out. There aren’t a dozen buttons to press a dozen times to get it set. I don’t have to worry about an app no longer existing (I have a WiFi power strip that is useless timer-wise for this reason). And best of all, I have both timed and “always on” outlets in one power strip. This works well when I’m also using it with grow lights that have built-in timers.

Works as advertised
I had this item for Christmas lights and it worked great for a month, and strangely the timer function stopped working, but the power strip still did. I contacted customer support and heard back very quickly. They offered a few tips to try and fix the issue, but once that did not work, they were quick to get my address and sent me a new one. It should be here soon. I will comment more if I have more issues. Great customer service. I just hope the new one works.
