Can you read easily in the dark? Are the arrows illuminated?

No. Not illuminated and its not even easy to read in the daytime!

I just bought this watch and love it. But I can't figure out how to change the date. Anyone help?

I have a very similar model, but not this exact one. Try this procedure --- pull the adjusting knob out by ONE stop... not two. Then rotate that knob counterclockwise a few times. The watch's date should then begin to rapidly change. Stop and press the knob inward when the correct date is displayed. Hopefully, you won't have a 12-hour out-of-sync condition --- otherwise try again.

It says it is water resistant to 99 meters, but it cannoy be submerged. What does that mean?

What size watch band would this take as a replacement? 18mm?

The attaching portion is 14 mm but the size of the actual strap is a little over 23 mm.
