Leather Hero Leather Color Restorer Kit for Couches, Leather Scratch Remover, Non-Toxic, Made in The USA (Burgundy)

This product is amazing. My old dog for some reason decided to do something he’s never done before: scratch at the seat of my couch and left a ton of scratch marks. This product made the scratch marks go away! The seat looked so good that the rest of my couch looked blah so I did both of my couches. They look like new and I haven’t even put the sealer on yet! I can’t wait until I get to do that!Few things to note:* I needed to blend two colors (mahogany and burgundy) to get the right shade* I did one thin coat and went back for a second touch up.* this was super easy and took me only a couple hours to do the first coat on love seat and couch.* my only complaint is the applicator handle is very thin and tiny. My hands were cramping and aching by the time I was done. It would be good If they changed the design to be thicker. Its fine for a small project, though.* I was surprised how well the applicator held up. It looks cheap and like the foam thing would fall off, but no. I received two applicators because I ordered two colors, but I only used one and the one I did use is still on good shape after the project is done!* It cleans up easily if you get it on something you don’t mean to, assuming you catch it wet. I can’t speak to clean up for drips that have dried.

I wanted to completely recover this vintage leather sofa and I had no idea how! I didn’t even know you could re-dye leather like this. It was my first project in re-dying, when I was gifted this leather couch and I can’t tell you with the research I did & the products i found, I can’t tell you enough how this was one of the best ones! I redo furniture and know the concept of coloring & technique but this went on so smoothly and without effort.Step 1: Mix the top cleaner & water together in a bowl. Apply with a microfiber or clean cloth. This will help clean your furniture and provide a base for the dye to be applied. Wait 30 minutes to dry.Step 2: apply dye with a sponge. (I purchase a leather applicator sponge on Amazon that is used to color leather jackets, car seats, etc.) I put the dye in a paint can and applied little pressure in circular motion when applying the dye to the furniture.You don’t need a lot!! This dye goes a long way. It’s better to start off with a light coat and reapply a second coat. Wait 72 hrs.Step 3: After 72 hrs apply the top coat and protectant. This set of 3 products (cleaner, dye, too coat) comes in a kit. I highly recommend since it is the proper way to redo furniture.Apply the top coat/protectant with a sponge or cloth. I chose a sponge with a handle so that way I had more control.IT CAME OUT AMAZING!!! As you can see and it hasn’t cracked or transferred.

This product went on our Classic Leather brand burgundy leather sectional beautifully... perfectly matching the original leather color. Unfortunately, when it dried, it darkened and shows a different shade than when first applied.

It worked better than I thought it would. The chair looks new again. I let it dry for 48 hours before we used it and it’s now months later and it hasn’t come off on anyone’s clothes.

I have an old mid-priced leather couch in a second home that I really didn't feel like replacing.so I figured, what the heck, I'll give Leather Hero a try. Really easy to apply, dries very quickly.I have a big dog who likes to dig on the couch so it was quite scratched up. I applied 2 to 3 coats in some spots. The color match (dark brown) isn't perfect but very close. You can't really see the difference unless you're looking for it. Because my dog digs, it doesn't hold up long for me but that's okay, a couple of quick swipes and it instantly looks better.

I'm not sure if I am doing something or not but I have had to re-apply this a few times already. We do have a dog who gets on the couch but we keep it covered. I have waited until it dries good before I let the dog back on it. Then it seems like last a couple of days and I see some spots reappear where I need to re-apply. Overall, I do like this product. It did match the color. It did cover it and even though I have to re-apply, I still like it. You should have seen what the couch looked like before. I was ready to buy new furniture 😩 I rather see some small areas pop up than to keep my couch like it was before.

My son bought a car with leather seats which were quite cracked and the drivers bolster warn. Just a few minutes of rubbing into the seats totally transformed the look. The seats now look fantastic.

This product worked extremely well on bringing an old white IKEA 3 seater sofa back to life. Amazing results. I cleaned the sofa first with a good leather cleaner and left to dry for an hour. Then applied the colour restorer. It took the whole tub for one coat, about 30mins work using the applicator to apply over whole surface. Once dried used a dry cloth to buff and finish. Very pleased with the finished result.

If you read the description it states you can alter the color by adding white or black that is includedIt’s not.

A reclining chair having sentimental value is in need of work, there are prominent cracks and discolourations. Knowing colour matching is almost impossible, I bought two dark chocolate bottles to give it a change over. I was hesitant at first, carefully following instructions and preparing for the worst, but wow ! The result is just beyond my imagination. The leather continues to be supple, the colour lively, although cracks are still there but much less prominent. I immediately ordered a Hero top coat to give it a layer of satin finish. Now I have a majestic piece that I can comfortably sit on and reminiscent the good old days !
