USED to FIX MILWAUKEE TOOL
So just like many Milwaukee Impact driver users, of the FUEL line up to include the "SURGE" variant, MILWAUKEE has failed to provide a fix for their bad design of a spring for their collet. I was looking for a replacement spring and oddly enough I found that THIS Dewalt spring looks strangely the same, so I ordered it...and guess what? It WORKED. No longer are my driver bits falling out of the collet. Thanks Dewalt for providing this replacement part easily as it's the best $8 I spent..saves me time=money. A few weeks without the tool may not be a viable option for something that is relatively easy and small enough of a job to replace on one's own.
