ZYXELC1000Z 802.11n VDSL2 Wireless Gateway Modem/Router

I recently added VDSL to a non-primary residence and setup this router in conjunction with a video surveillance system. I've not had one issue with it and it has been a solid performer. When we stay at the house, we connect numerous devices from televisions, tablets, smart phones, laptops, game systems and more. All devices with the exception of the surveillance system connect wirelessly and the performance is great. We stream movies and put a lot of data through it without one glitch. I'm so glad I decided to purchase the unit outright and not go with the equipment rental as it will pay for itself in less than 4 months.Feature wise I'm please with the available options and in particular the guest network feature. I've also set mine up with multiple wireless networks each on various segments for added security. Having an extensive background in technology and networking I can tell you the interface made it easy enough for the average user to accomplish what I did with little or no understanding of networks. Pretty impressive!

The wifi works fine but ports for the wired connections all dont work on any devices I try.. Also the modem see itself looks like it was chewed on by an animal. Needed this item for online school so I had to keep it not having internet access another week would have costed me a grade otherwise I would have returned this item ..Delivery was fast wish I could give a better review

This is probably called the 'customer service', I bought this product from this seller long back and never had any problems. But few months back, I'd experienced real bad signals from this wifi router, and when connected to the service provider (CL) they say the connection from our end is good and there is a problem with the router. I then contacted ZYXEL, and guess what ... there was an immediate response from this seller replacing with another product. I'm certainly delighted for the service provided, please keep up your service and thanks for the delayed response. The product is working fine.

I bought the refurbished model. It arrived in pristine condition with all the necessary cords.No instructions shipped with it, which I thought was odd and the reason for only 4 stars.Plugged it in, attempted to install it and was having issues. I had to reset the modem, it hadn't been reset before being sent to me. I find that strange since it was supposedly refurbished, but regardless, once that was done, installing was a breeze.Bottom line, works great. My old modem I was constantly having to reset it. This one is flawless so far.I would definitely recommend.

This is a used product. Some scratches, very dusty, has not been reset from the last owner.Easy to setup, good user interface. Worked the first time. The router antenna is very weak, some of my devices that connected fine to my lynksis router before won't connect here. Very weak signal. I had to disable the router portion and use this purely as a modem. I'm using an old dlink router instead and it's much easier to connect to. Overall, not bad if you use it as a modem only.

This modem + router worked flawlessly with our CenturyLink service. The reason I bought it was because ever since Qwest changed to CenturyLink no one ever bothered to provide us a new modem so we were stuck using the same Qwest modem from 10 years ago. Setting up the device was pretty easy if you have any basic networking knowledge​. I just plugged it into the power, DSL line, and connect to the local IP to set up the wireless. So far so good!

Recieved this product today and the land line that connects to the modem I'm currently renting from centurylink doesn't fit...any suggestions?

5-star for price and reliability. I was leasing my modem directly from Centrurylink (2 star for them...), and I was paying $8-10 per month after tax. I finally took initiative to look for it online, and got a great deal on a used model. Works great for our small 1200 sq ft apartment. Handles 2 laptops, 2 cell phones, and a printer and 2 chromecasts no problem.
