Better than expected
I was looking for a budget lockback for an all around knife. I've found lockbacks better than linear lock knife, but that's a different story. It arrived with a few blemishes on it, but I'm not to worried since I'll probably be adding a few of my own in the years to follow. The knife arrived sharp, edge held up fairly well. It's stainless steel and doesn't hold up to my old buck 110's 440 edge (my buck is from the 70's and is far better than today's 110). But does do better than my Uncle Henry lockback. Sorry, but today's rating for steel, just doesn't seem reflect the true wear of an edge. In this case my Uncle Henry doesn't hold an edge as well as this knife. Point here is to get a budget knife that can hold up as well as the big popular names. There's no marking on the blade, except for the generic "stainless china".Things I've used this knife for, before I had to resharpen:- box tape (opened a few amazon boxes)- wire stripping (cut/strip speaker wire, stripping down romex 14/2)- string and poly cord- fuel line- tarp- opening burlap bagsResharpened- broke down cardboard boxes- nylon straps- rubber fuel lines- poly fuel lines- trim plastic tabs- widdle down a few spruce branches, just because I wanted to know if it can handle it- notched pine board, just because I wanted to know if it can handle ittime for another resharpenSharpening took a little time, but that's expected for a fairly decent steel.Back to the point. The best part of this knife design is the handle. The scales bow out a little which makes handling good and comfortable. It takes a little time for it to wear in, but for the price, it's not bad. I hope it lasts, I'm really liking the feel of this mid size knife. And the edge retention isn't bad to where I'm happy with the price point. In the end, it's worth the money for a working knife.

Excellent knife for the money!
Sharp blade, solid construction. Mechanics work well on the one I received. Excellent fit in the hand. We shall see how long it holds an edge but I have no reason to believe it will be any different than any other knife that requires occasional honing. For a less than $10 knife, I’d buy it again and it will make a great gift for a stocking stuffer! Wood work on the handle is good and there are no rough edges. Keeper.

Unsatisfied
You definitely get what you pay for. It is extremely difficult to close and depress the blade lock. Not worth getting

Dull, heavy and pointy
The construction is fine. It feels heavy. All the corners on the folded knife are a bit pointy and would benefit from some rounding -- most noticeably the corner near the lanyard hole. The seller did not provide a picture of the knife when folded. If so, the extent to which the spine sticks out would be apparent. A major criticism is that the blade came dull. It was smushing through cardboard, not cutting. I shouldn't have to sharpen a brand new knife.
