1001 practice problems with answers; nothing more, nothing less.
Note: This book contains practice problem sets for students who want to brush up on their basic Algebra skills. If you're looking for a self-teach DIY guide/manual then this is not what you're looking for. However, in addition to this book I purchased 'Idiot's Guide to Algebra' - which by the way was written by a completely different author and publisher- and found that the order of the contents were fairly in sync with those in this book. The combination of the two books is what really helped get me back into my Algebra game.

Best Algebra 1 review I have found!
The best review for Algebra I have found. The ideas covered are explained well with short lessons, and answers are given with complete steps. I am an elementary teacher, not particularly adept at high school math, but I was able to tutor my son with this book. He even admitted he kind of enjoyed it.

A good review for forgetful math students.
I didn’t enjoy this book, but I needed it.

It's missing some Algebra I concepts but it is very clearly written, and easy enough for my 11 year
It's missing some Algebra I concepts but it is very clearly written, and easy enough for my 11 year-old to zoom through it.

Real help for parents
Practice questions with the answers. Does not follow the Glencoe text, but I believe this is only home practice questions that come with answers that the parents can check. Others, Glencoe or other names, don't have answers-means the parents must solve the questions to get the answers. Searching the web, some answers may turn up, but this is a hit and miss-not good enough.

Explanations Lack Depth
Mathmatical explanations lack in depth. Many problems required looking online for further explanation. The content in this book would be great if it were marketed as a math workbook versus a book that is teaching you how to perform Algebra.

Very helpful in learning algebra.
This book is very helpful with algebra. It took me a few minuets to figure out how the book but once I did, it was very useful in explaining how to do various problems.

Whilst the book itself is in decent condition, I was disappointed to find a lot of the equations have been solved in pen, therefore cannot be rubbed out.
