Makes waxing so much easier
I've been doing my own bikini/brazilian waxes at home for over a decade. In our current house, I've been keeping a busted up old microwave *just* for heating up wax. Heating wax has always been cumbersome, so I always wind up going between waxes far longer than I want to. When I use a microwave, the wax always comes out too hot, so I have to wait for it to cool and then I rush to finish before it gets TOO cool.I've been looking at reviews for warmers for a year. Ultimately, I chose this one because of the price (some others were close to $100) and because I've used (and still use) both Moom and Parissa wax for years. I was hesitant to buy this one because of the negative reviews, but I figured for $15, it wouldn't be a huge loss if I don't like it that much. Now that I have it and have used it, I'm really surprised at the negative reviews! I LOVE this thing and I'm kicking myself for not getting it sooner! Yes, it takes awhile to warm up. I was prepared to give it time, having read the reviews. So I just planned ahead and set it up about 45 minutes before I wanted to start. Around the 35 minute mark, I probably could have used it, but I have it the extra 10 minutes. (I kept the lid on the wax container, thinking that might help hold the heat in and warm it more quickly. That seemed to work.) The wax jar itself never got too hot to touch or handle. The heat was PERFECT - the wax was warm and not burning hot. The best part is that I was able to wax without any rush because it stayed the same temperature and consistency throughout the entire process. I unplugged the warmer when I was done, let it cool off, and then tucked it away. I love the size, it's small enough to just tuck onto a shelf. I am THRILLED with this little thing!

Works like a beauty !
I’ve been having mine for a few months. The plastic does not melt of course once the wax is hot take it off of the wax warmer or else it will over heat. One little container of sugar wax has last me for a few months . I highly recommend even for beginners like myself.

Better than a microwave
I loved finding a hair removal wax warmer that was just a base and not a whole tub for the wax beads sinse I usually order tubs of predone wax. It ia very light weight and small enough that it is very easy to store anywhere. The light works great to let you know when it is on. Ive used it probably six times now and havent had a proble. My only complaint is that I wish it was temperature controlled. After a while it will make the wax quite hot but I'll just take the tub off and set it on the counter and continue to use it until it starts to cool again and then id put it back on the warmer for a while. Doing that isn't so bad ita definitely better than having to keep running to the microwave!

If you get the wax, you need to get the warmer
If you are going to get the Parissa wax, get the warmer. It's too much of a pain to warm the wax over a gas burner. So it takes awhile to melt the wax. Start melting the wax and go work on the computer for awhile. In this day and age, I think that we can all find something to do while we wait. The wax is fantastic. I was without my warmer in the states (it was back in Mexico), and it took me just as long to melt the wax appropriately over a gas burner anyway, and it was a bigger pain. Melting the wax inappropriately and faster is not better. So get the warmer, and melt your wax the right way.

Great wax warmer!
I'm not sure why I've been heating up wax on the stovetop for so long with a wax warmer like this available! It's so easy to use, didn't get the wax too hot and is small and easy to store when not in use.

Dangerous
This thing is inconsistent and dangerous. It melted and burned right through the mattress of my airbnb. Never again.

Still working great! However taking 1 star off for as the cord length is small and takes time to heat up. Star the warmer 30-15 min before you star waxing. Taking one more star off for not being unable to clean it. No matter how careful I manage to get the wax on the warmer top. Over the years it looks disgusting with hair being trapped in the wax (ewww). I tried to clean it when hot and cold. No success :( Otherwise serves the purpose!

Convenient device
This wax warmer is lightweight, warms wax gradually to a temp that doesn't burn, and is easy to pack. I am very pleased with the product.

Fast wax-warmer
It’s a lightweight wax warmer that does the job it’s made to do pretty well. Easy to turn off and on. Heads up - you should keep baby oil on standby as this wax warmer is kind of hard to clean without it if you spill wax on it. It won’t stop your wax from warming in its container, but it’ll get a bit messy, so beware.

Works well
I like how small and portable this is. I use a 250ml metal cup to melt wax and this works great for the brand that I use. Other wax warmers are too bulky, so I like how compact this is. It does take a while to heat up, so I recommend putting some tin foil on top of the metal holder containing the wax. I also recommend that you use tin foil directly on the warmer to act as a barrier between the warmer and the container. I spilled a bit of wax onto the warmer and it is really hard to clean and the wax got into the edges around the hot plate. Using tin foil will prevent this.
