Need to use 2 of these for my entire head of hair. They work, yet remember, they are made of hard plastic, so they won't last for years. Mine last about 6 months each - therefore the purchase of two sets.The biggest issue is not with the product itself, but the shipping. They are easily broken. The first order had three of them in pieces, completely unusable. Amazon did reship another order immediately, & received 3 of the four in good shape, so kept them, yet Did pay for four. Wish they could figure out a way to package them better &/or give better training to the folks preparing the shipments.

These are a nice large size which is good because bigger clips can be harder to find and pricier at the drug store. My only issue is that they don't have any rubber grip material on the inside so if I take these out of my hair once after the initial up-do when my hair is wet, it occasionally falls down. Overall, they hold pretty tightly, even without the grip. For the price, they're good to have on hand as eventually, I take them out and set them down all over the house, office, car, etc. I would say good quality for the price.

I call these my tarantulas. I have very long, thick, heavy hair. I twist it into a messy bun and this clip holds until I take it out. They are my "go to" clips.

I'm very happy to have found these hair clips! I have long, thick hair (to middle of my back with 3a curls) and sometimes I just can't deal with it falling in my face and a ponytail isn't enough. The claw clips I was buying from local stores would break within a month or so and it got so frustrating! I decided to give these a try and I could immediately feel the difference in quality. These clips hold my hair so much better and after months of use none of them have snapped. That being said I did take away one star because as you can see in the second photo the top part you grab did break on one clip. It slipped out of my hand and dropped a week after getting them and that pice snapped off. I know I'm the one who dropped it but I've dropped other clips before (including the other 3 of these) and never had one break like that. I am a little disappointed but still very happy with the other 3 hair clips.The last pic shows how much hair it can hold... No, it's not a flattering hairstyle.. I do this at home when I need my hair out of my way and it's far less damaging than a messy bun.

These are pretty strong and keep my long hair up all day unlike the regular straight clips. The clips have a better shape to hold hair in place. It has flatter bottom claws to lay close to head and not poke. Also lays flatter instead of poking out of the head which is great for driving. It gives me more room to sit normally without the clip hitting the headrest or making me sit with my head forward. Best clips I've found.

Ordered these in August 2021. I’ve only taken 2 out of the packaging since then. I use them almost everyday and neither one has broken. I have very heavy thick hair and almost always wear it clipped up. In the past clips have lasted at most a few months then either several teeth have broken off or the spring gives out. The only issue I had with these is that the spring is very stiff when first using the clip. I have used either of these 2 clips virtually everyday for 15 months with no issues. The clips are a bit easier to open than at first but that’s the only change.

These are larger then the clips you get from the store and work well for my thick hair.

These hair clips are phenomenal. They are super sturdy, hold hair in place great and stand up to wear and tear.My hair is ALWAYS up in a hair clip and I have A LOT of hair (down to my behind). I brush it up and back when it's wet and then twist it into a tight bun and this clip holds it into place all day! It doesn't come loose at all.I use to buy the name brand ones but everytime I dropped it they broke and the name brand ones aren't cheap (about $6 each). So I looked on Amazon for sturdier ones and found these. I bought a 4 pack of these 1.5years ago. I lost one, gave one to my daughter and the other two after using them each for several months finally gave in, their teeth started breaking off one by one, so they lasted really long compared to the more expensive ones.Definitely worth the cheap price.

Can’t fault this, I have long thick hair and this is perfect for it. I have a very active job and prefer to use these than elastic bands and this is perfect, I go through the whole day without having to redo my hair bun.

On a whim I bought one of these clips in a store. I didn’t have high expectations. It worked fantastic!! Until my parrot broke it. LOL So I needed replacements ASAP & ordered these. They arrived intact which I was very pleased with after reading other reviews saying broken during delivery. My hair goes down to my waist and almost nothing keeps it up & tight. These large octopus clips do & I couldn’t be happier. Time will tell how long they last because I have so much hair but thus far, I’m thrilled. I love too that they come in black which I prefer. I don’t mind the tortoise color but I do prefer black.

One of them was broken when it arrived. No visible damage to packaging or box so it must have been broken at the point of packing into the inner cellophane bag. So not as economical as I initially thought.They are big like I wanted, my hair is very long and won't fit in a smaller clip. And the claws sit flat on my head, with no claw points digging in. This is the main reason I prefer this type.
