It works well, and no kitty irritation. -- 1 Week update...
Day 3:If you are like most people, you have three main concerns over flea medication:1. Is it safe?2. Will it kill the fleas?3. How much is it going to cost?We have a total of 9 cats, and we imported a bad flea problem when we brought in a feral mama kitty and her 4 kittens. Before we knew they had fleas, we had an infestation for all of our cats. We placed the kittens with a no kill adoption shelter after socializing them, and kept mama since she was amicable to being domesticated. But that still left us with fleas. One of our cats with long hair had the worst flea problem. I was using a flea comb on him twice a day, and getting roughly 20 fleas off of him per combing. All cats were fighting with itching and biting at their fleas. I tried using the Hartz topical drops, and I might as well have been using water. It brought no change at all for any of the cats.I then waited one month to use this product, and it went well. None of the cats seemed irritated by the drops. A few didn’t like the liquid on their neck, but they didn’t do mouthing motions like they had with the Hartz, which indicates they could taste the Hartz while it was entering their system.Within 12 hours of their individual applications (I staggered them so I could isolate each cat while the drops dried) the amount of biting and scratching at fleas dropped greatly. I did combing of a few of them at the 24 hour marks, and the one long-hair had 2 living fleas that could barely walk, and no other fleas at all. Within 48 hours, there were no fleas found on any of the cats except the long-hair, who had 2 small fleas that were still alive, but could not stand. These were small, and probably had just hopped onto him from the carpeting.I am very happy with the results, and will follow-up with a second treatment at the 30 days mark. One bit of advice—if you have a beard or hair trimmer that is not too loud, and cannot cut skin, I would suggest trimming a quarter-sized spot on the back of your cat’s neck before applying this. (If you can convince your cat to sit for it!) Doing this will allow you to apply the medication directly to the skin/undercoat, allowing it to sink in directly without wicking up too much into the fur. When I did this, the liquid—which has the consistency of a thin oil—sat in that spot and did not run all over. Petting the cat and keeping it in an upright position for a few minutes allowed the treatment to seep and spread at the skin level, which is most effective.A good product at a good price!I will amend this if there is anything negative to report, but I do not anticipate such.Day 7:The fleas are coming back. The frist 1-2 days the numbers combed out of the cats plummeted dramatically. Then the numbers started to rise. I can understand that the flea eggs and larvae that were on the floor and everywhere else might have been rotating in, but that would not explain the dramatic decline, and then rise, in fleas combed out. Figure--if fleas were rotating in, then they should have been rotating in the first 1-2 days as well. Not a problem. But the fact remains that the numbers are going up. The only thing I can think of is that the toxicity to fleas drops off after a couple of days, and thus the ones are simply not dying off as quickly. And after only 1 week, that tells me that by the end of the second week, the fleas will be back in full force, with 2 more weeks before I can treat again.

Great flea treatment for small cats!
I’ve been using TevraPet Actispot II on my 7-pound cat, and the results have been excellent. It’s easy to apply, has no strong odor, and most importantly—it works. Within a few days of the first dose, the fleas were completely gone and haven’t returned.I also love that it comes with 6 doses, so I’m covered for several months. It’s much more affordable than some of the big-name brands but just as effective. My cat had no adverse reaction and tolerated it really well.Highly recommended if you’re looking for a reliable and budget-friendly flea treatment for your cat!

Better than petarmour
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Pet armor stopped working and with multiple pets the expensive stuff wasn't an option. We replaced it with this one and haven't had any issues.

It worked!
I followed one of the other reviewers directions of ordering this and ordering the pill that kills fleas with in thirty mins. I also took it a step further and washed all my blankets the cat had been on, and vacuumed everything, and gave him a flea bath. He is an old man and was not happy about the last one, but was a champ. He is so soft and clean, and happy - because he is flea free! I have tried many different flea treatments with zero success. I thought this would be like the rest but I was sold by the reviews. I’m glad I took a leap of faith and purchased this for my cat. He deserves a life free of fleas! At 20 years old, and 7lbs, this worked well and I have seen zero negative side effects and it’s been well over a week since the first application.

I have 2 cats and have had a flea issue since the weather warmed up. I tried a brand from the store and it didn't do a thing! I ordered this and within a week our fleas where almost gone. I used a house spray and have no more fleas and my cats aren't itching anymore! It works great and fast too!

Use in Conjunction PetArmor CAPACTION (nitenpyram) if you want to see results
I have had a really bad flea infestation for a year and part of the problem is the in/outdoor cat that we took in.I had to take my 27lbs cat to the vet because #1 he lost 7lbs (which is great) but he was on deaths door I do give wash my cats the ones that let me, but because the fleas caused him anemia he had a fever and I had been using Advantage Multi® for Cats (imidacloprid + moxidectin) but it costs thru the vet $130, for 6 cats but the problem i have it has not worked so far and they want me to try Bravecto and would cost $350 a month for 6 cats so I decided to buy TevraPet Actispot II because it has imidacloprid which is the same Ingredient on advantage multi but i used it together with PetArmor CAPACTION (nitenpyram).Price wise great, I do have to note that I do buy the Advantage Multi® for Cats from the Vet I have in the past but when my order will not come on time i do buy it from the vet which was 10/23/23 but i also have a site that sells Advocate which is the same as Advantage Multi for $71 for 6 my cats they are are 13lbs and up and I dont need prescription and they do have Brevecto for like $200 for the 6 cats but I dont want to give it to them because of the reviews.Thru research i found there is lufenuron that you can give to your pet once a month that kills the eggs and larvae not the live fleas but it comes in pills and a shot from the vet the shot lasts for up to 6 months, but you know that is not how big pharma works, it work on the $130 and $350 a month. The reason for the 3 star is because I used it in conjunction with PetArmor CAPACTION, so i am not sure how effective is by itself with out the nitenpyram that is only for 24hrs which i found another site to buy that for 30 pills for $21 and i order that tonight because is more cost effective on top of the 6 cats i have feral cat i want to treat the outdoor cat that refuses to leave after a year.
