SWITCHDOCTOR Window Master Switch for 1989-2002 Mazda RX-7 (FD14-66-350C)

Overall seems to be a great, low cost, replacement old broken windows switches in my '93 USDM (left hand drive) RX7, but some details in the product description are unclear, so I'll elaborate below for others. As mentioned, I have a USDM left hand drive car. This car comes from factory with only the drivers side window having the auto down function. I'm happy to report, the auto down function for both driver's and passenger's side windows, w/ this switch, operate as intended; nice win there. Where things get a little weird is with the product description statement (in one of the product images) that this is not intended for right hand drive cars. I can't confirm whether that's true, but what I can confirm is that the mold used for the top plate on this switch was based off of a right hand drive car. It's only slightly noticeable once installed and I suspect most won't even notice, but the switch top plate does not fit perfectly in a left hand drive car. If you compare the OEM and this replacement switch top plates side by side you'll see that the curvature is slightly different and a perfect inverse of each other. It's quite subtle and it'll likely only bother you if you're a perfectionist. Luckily there is a solution! If your OEM top plate is in good shape, you can just unscrew the top places and swap them between the switches; perfect swap. This results in the ideal solution. Non broken switches, both auto down capable and perfect fit in a USDM car! Another nice benefit, I noticed that my windows operate faster now, I'm assuming because the old switch's contact points had deteriorated significantly over time.

This works exactly like factory with the added feature of auto down. If your looking for a factory looking replacment this ain't it. But if you don't want to pay around 150$ for oem and dont mind a little visual difference, this is perfect.. highly recommend because I didn't want to pay that 150$..

Thought this was "too good to be true" but I'm thoroughly impressed that it not only fits like and looks stock, but works just as well and with an added feature that the FC3S never came with. ( Auto down for both sides!) Its also not super expensive like the OEM units or the ridiculous asking price of some second hand, 30 year old used ones. Hopefully they last a good while

Works great! Doesn't fit 100% as snug as OEM but maybe if you put some heat to it you could shape it to the armrest better. Definitely suits my purposes as the stock door card insert is in rough shape on my FD regardless.

Easy plug and play for my fc. My passenger switch has never worked but when my drivers switch broke, I needed a fix. This was good price and solved the problem. Seems to be decent quality so far

For RHD, the left switch opens my right window and vice versa.

Had to switch around the wiring to work for rhd but works great!

At first I was hesitant to buy because the price was so low compared to used ones and I thought it would not fit. I bought it and boy do I regret waiting so long to purchase it, this switch fit my '91 convertible perfectly, not only did it fit but now I actually have automatic windows. I attached a pic of the new one and the one it replaced. Thank you and hope this helps anyone on the fence about buying it, I would say buy it with confidence and don't give it a second thought, delivery was only like 3 days for me.
