Worked without issue
I bought since it was a great price. This is a late review since I bought for a trip cancelled due to covid. Had no issues as a simple EU type C wall outlet.

As advertised
As advertised, worked great in Italy! I liked that it had multiple spots to plug in. I took just this and had no problems. Much cheaper than buying it from the street vendors there. Would buy again!

Well Built, Reasonably Priced, and Designed for a Huge Range of Outlets.
This is a great product. In all I've purchased four of these for personal use and friends/family. The build quality feels above average for what I've experienced with other adapters and in my travels (Czech Rep., Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands) they have worked flawlessly. A huge benefit is the ability to plug in two devices to each adapter; this is handy for charging multiple devices or for simply simply leaving whatever was already plugged into the outlet functional (bedside light, etc.)

Sturdy and well made for this type of adapter
Of four brands of European adapters this is the best one I got. It stays in the wall plug well, even with a 100W Anker charger plugged in, and it offers two US-style plugs. It doesn't feel cheap like it will fall apart soon, as many others do.

Worked Greece & Italy. Type F probably better. This wasn't super snug fit, but I had a U.S. splitter added-on, making it heavier
I used these in Greece & Italy in 2015. Worked fine. Although perhaps better to get a Type F adapter rather than this Type C.From what I understand, all Type F adapter plugs can be inserted into a Type C socket. But only some type C adapter plugs can be inserted into a Type F socket (depending upon socket & adapter design). And even when they fit, you don't get any grounding with a Type C adapter plug. And Type C is only for low-amperage devices (2.5 amps normally). You have a high-amp device, or load too many low-amp devices onto 1 Type C adapter, and you may have problems. So, better to get the Type F adapter rather than this Type C adapter. It will work better, and in more countries. The only critique I have of this Type C, is some sockets are shaped a bit differently (particularly in Italy I think, more circular & recessed), so these didn't always fit as deeply or snugly as I would've liked. It never caused an actual problem, and I never had to resort to tape to hold them in place, but it just left me slightly concerned.Of course, I made it a little challenging for the adapter...I often plugged in a 3-outlet U.S.-to-U.S. power splitter to this, making it heavier. But that then gave me three 3-prong sockets + one 2-prong socket per adapter. Without that, you only have one socket of each type on this adapter.

Oval peg in a round hole. : (
We ordered 2 of these and spent a month in Spain. I don't know what the 220V outlets are like in the rest of the world but in Spain they are a round hole that a round plug fits into. While this adapter fits in the hole, it does not fit securely. The weight of a cord alone is enough to pull the adapter out of the wall outlet. It was a big hassle, always needing adjustment and fiddling to keep plugged in especially in older outlets.

Excellent US to EU Adapter
If you are travelling to the EU and you have electronics that are rated for 230v, then this is perfect for you to use. If your device is not rated for 230 (it is only rated for 120v) then this will not work.If you have electronics from the US or Canada and bring it to the most countries in the EU, this adapter is perfect. It's small, has a fuse for extra safety and works like a champ. No need for a long review, if you need a US to EU adapter, this is perfect for you. I've used mine for several years and it works flawlessly.

Not suitable for full-depth Schuko sockets -- "Suitable for most of Europe" description is WRONG!
Plug and socket standards are two different things. Continental Europe has mostly standardized on a *plug* type called Europlug with the same two pins as this adapter provides. However, the *sockets* that receive these plugs vary by country. Some have very deep plastic recesses that the outside body of the plug must fit down into, some aren't recessed at all. In France, Belgium, Poland and a few other outliers, the recesses are either shallow or non-existent. But especially in recent construction in Germany etc., you'll have a Schuko outlet with a deep circular recess that the plug must fit all the way into. This adapter doesn't. The smaller white part to which the pins attach isn't deep enough, so the squarish main body of the plug hits the plastic outside of the receptacle before the pins reach their contacts.Unless you're specifically going to a Type C country, get a Type F adapter. Don't make the mistake I did.
