The information provided by the manufacturer is misleading and inaccurate with regard its compatibility with Apple computers.The information both on their package and also in the instruction booklet included with the microscope states that the software (Micro Capture Plus) provided on the CD or downloaded via Veho’s Download website is compatible with Mac OS X 10.12 or later. In fact, Mac OS X 10.14 or later is required. Furthermore, downloading the application from their website is blocked on Apple computers even when running Mac OS X 10.14 and higher as it is not an Apple approved application. Direct contact with Veho Customer Service did not provide either an explanation for this misinformation or a solution to the problem. I suspect the problem is more related to Apple marketing pressure on Veho but Veho have a responsibility not to recommend their product to Apple device users.

Leider zeigt das Veho DC-2 nur einen grauen Bildschirm mit MicroCapturePlus an.Software auf CD ist Stand von der Webseite. Software ist von 2018.1 PC und 2 Laptops getestet.Es wird leider kein Bild angezeigt über die Software.Das Veho wird erkannt, das Licht funktioniert, etc.Die Software überträgt aber kein Bild.Daher vermutlich nicht mit den neueren Win-10-Versionen (20H2 aktuell) kompatibel.Laut Recherche gab es wohl auch Problem Mac OS10 - inkompatibel.Produkt soll schon seit 2014 auf dem Markt sein.Laut Hersteller soll mit Windows 10 kompatibel sein, was aber wohl ggf. nur mit der ersten Version von Win 10 getestet wurde.Leider vollständig unbrauchbar.Schade!

Ich kann leider nicht die 5 Sternen geben. Mikroskop ist genug gut, aber zum vergleichen mit meinem altem....Das Bild könnte besser sein. Zum verstellen senkrecht brauch man eine Schraube lösen. Etwas unpraktisch.
