LawnStar Non-Ionic Surfactant worked fine to reduce surface tension of Ragan & Massey's glyphosate (41%) concentrate. But ... The surfactant's label instructions included only teaspoonfuls and ounces per gallon in its recommendations for use. Teaspoons are notoriously variable in their sizes and inexact in how they are filled (e.g., level or about to spill over the teaspoon's rim). The manufacturers of this product should also provide metric equivalents for the volume of product to use (i.e., milliliters - mL) and the amount of water in which to dilute it (e.g., in both metric liters - L and U.S. gallons, as many customers may not have both systems of volume marked on their sprayers).

Worked Great and Saved Money
Just finished using LawnStar Non-Ionic Surfactant, mixed with Sedgehammer sedge killer, to treat nut sedge in my lawn. It worked great. Measured and mixed easily. By using the combination of the two products, I was able to treat my lawn for less than half of what I had been paying for Sedgehammer+, a sedge killer which has its own surfactant pre-mixed in. I am very pleased with the performance of this LawnStar product and will continue to use the combination of the two products in the future.

Use for pressure washing
I use this when I add to my pressure-washing detergent. It has helped keep the concrete in the wet state when doing driveways that require detergent. Only need around a tablespoon per gallon so this stuff will last a while.

Improves herbicide application efficiency.
I used a 2,4-D herbicide for spot treating a lawn with a never-ending dandelion and other broad-leaf weed problem with a bit of surfactant mixed in for better application efficacy. It had very noticeable effect with the weeds shriveling and browning within 2 days - despite receiving tremendous rainfall. The surrounding grass is mostly unaffected. A dilute 2,4-D herbicide solution with surfactant seems to be safer / more tolerable to surrounding grasses than a strong application of just herbicide. I attribute this partially to the surfactant improving uptake of the weaker solution in targeted species, improving overall efficiency of each application.
