High Temperature Cheddar Cheese - 2.5 Lb. Bag

Used this cheese for beef sticks. Good size cubes, held up well during the smoking process. Shipping is SLOW and was not packed in ice, luckily outside temps were cold enough not to worry but won't buy in the summer. Product is gluten free which is why I went with this brand.

I use this to make my venison summer sausage. Quality is great as flavor is as expected. Would buy again from this supplier.

I'm this video I sound a little out of breath, but that's because I was suffering with some lower back pains. But look how good these sausages turned out! Not bad for my first time ever attempting to make them. The worst thing about buying cheddarwurst is the lack of cheddar. Home made is so much better! These sausages have a lot of cheese in them and they turned out so delicious! I'll be buying more. And next time, I hope to find some high temp blue cheese to put in a buffalo chicken sausage! I shared these with various people. Without fail, everyone who has tried them have told me they are the best sausages they've ever had! The cheese is expensive, but it's good cheese and makes a better sausage! Give it a try to see how you like it. I purchased a 5 pound bag to use in a 35 pounds batch of prime brisket and pork butt from Costco. I followed the recipe that can be found on YouTube on the chudsbbq channel. He's got a video for jalapeno & cheddar sausage with a recipe in the description. That's what these are. I just increased his recipe based on the amount of meat and fat that I had. I didn't use the full 5 pounds of cheese, but I did use almost all of it. There's a little left for another small batch. I also added many more smoked jalapeno and serrano peppers than he used. These are so good! I'll be buying more cheese soon enough.

I make sausage. LOTS of sausage. I like making cheesy sausages from time to time, but always had a hard time finding a good high-temp cheese that was both flavorful and had a nice texture after cooking. I've had cheese that was next-level flavorful, but the price was enough to make my head spin. The cheese from this seller met both my flavor expectations as well as being a great value. Super creamy cheese, with a full-flavor profile, at a great price. Got to love it! Highly recommended.

This arrived packaged so well! We have already added this to our smoked sausage. It did not melt when cooked and the flavor is there. It’s not overpowering - is just a subtle hint of cheddar. I’m sure you could add more if you wanted a burst of cheese. I will buy this again.
