Easy to replace but beware the screws that come with this are very easy to strip so I wouldn't tighten too much!

Less than an hour to install, saving over $50
Ok, so it's not the easiest plug and play installation since you have a couple of wire ribbons you have to unplug and replug in. I got away with only unplugging 2 ribbons, so it could have been much worse. Can't fault this company for the way Nintendo built their joycon. Instructions were clear, and the screwdrivers were great. the plastic tongs and pick, not so much. I broke the pick uninstalling the battery and the plastic tweezers didn't clasp the ribbons very well, but regular tweezers did the trick. This company put its money in a quality joystick, and it works very well. I had to calibrate it a little, and was good as new at that point.

It fixed the problem
My 7 year old son, who is admittedly pretty handy, was able to nearly complete this installation on his own. Had some bad drift that this corrected. Directions were clear and everything you needed was supplied.

Complete kit with another Drifting Joycon
The kit give everything you need to install a new joystick. Sadly the joystick that came with the kit also was broken and had drift issues. So it make the overall value of the kit pointless beyond gaining experience of taking apart a joy-con.

Finally!!!!! My joycon lives again ;~;
I was disheartened when my left joycon unlocked and fell to the concrete floor, after that the joystick would drift and wouldn't work properly. This was such a great buy and saved me from having to go out and buy a singular joycon. Now I have two working sets. Life saver product

Great buy!!
It was pretty easy to install, just a little tedious when it came to removing/inserting the ribbons. Besides that the joystick works great!

Wasted Money
maybe it was user error but it sounded like it would be a pretty easy fix and that’s the last thing it was. Tools included were terrible. Tweezers didnt come together at all. I had to throw out the whole controller afterwards. Definitely dont reccomend for an inexperienced repair person.

Terrible drift
Worker great for a week than had extremely bad drift (worse than Nintendo stock) made my switch unusable.
