Cardstock Cowboys Weird West, No. 3: Infernal Devices

Contains two of the best issues of Starman ever!
I'm writing this as someone who owns the original issues of Starman to be reprinted.Starman is a brilliantly written superhero book about how Jack Knight, son of the Golden age Starman, inherits the family legacy. James Robinson, the writer, writes wonderful dialogue filled with cultural references, and he treats every one of his characters with dignity. The book at times has an almost poetic quality to it.The main storyline in this trade is about Jack's battle against a mad bomber, and is everything I said above. This trade also has two of my favorite issues in the series: "The return of Bobo Benetti" introduces one of the coolest cats (thats the only word to describe him, and no, he's not a feline) in comicdom. The other bookend is "Talking with David", a story which uses Golden Age characters in that way only James Robinson can.
