"I recently purchased the PHRFlash cards to help prepare me for the Professional Human Resources certification examination. Though I have over 20 years of experience in the field, I found that my knowledge in all of the six areas being tested was not as complete or up to date. The flash cards have not only provided an excellent way to recall and reenforce the subject matter I have retained, but also introduce to new knowledge that the profession has deemed to be important and significant for certification. The system is easy to use, seems to be thorough and adaptable to the pace I have decided to work at."It would be much appreciated. Thank you!

That's only my second week studying through this flashcard system, and I feel it's very valuable so far. I love how convenient is to carry the flashcards everywhere, and how the main concepts of the test are explained in a whole comprehensive way. I believe that's one of the best resources I have to be well prepared for the PHR exam.

The flashcards come in a sheet and must be manually separated; this is a very cumbersome task. There are A LOT of grammatical and spelling errors. I have added a photo of the worst error I have come across; I think the word is supposed to be needs. These things lead me to the 4 stars rating. However, the content is written in a way that is easy to understand and is helping me study for my upcoming PHR exam.

I really appreciate the pre-made flashcards along with the Leitner method it gives. I adore how it is broken down by section with a usable yet understandable explanation of the terms and critical thinking. Ex: Explain and describe the styles of interviewing vs just what is panel interviewing. It challenges you to know the terms and an actual usage of the terminology.

Not quite a "flash" card since there's nothing that can really be done by just flashing the card...there's a lot of reading to be done with these cards and the answers are quite extensive. It is the PHR though so it's kind of expected. Either way, I was hoping these would come as a stack of cards in a box. Turns out you have to tear them all your self resulting in rough edges were the perforation was and there's no box. Not a fan of them, they're just okay.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the flashcard study system. So far, I have found them to be very user friendly and extremely informative. I love that they are broken down by test topic and that they provide extremely detailed answers to each question that further assists in the learning process. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone preparing for the PHR or SPHR exams. Great tool!!!

I wish I would have done a bit more review on these "flashcards"I was really hoping to add these to my study materials but was shocked when I realized I paid $40 for INCREDIBLY LONG answers printed off on pieces of paper that I would have to cut apart myself. The answers are honestly such textbook long answers, its really hard to even retain and sorta beats the purpose of having flashcards. Don't waste your time and Definitely do your research before purchasing this item.

Thank you Pine Island Books for my PHR Flash Study Cards - I love them!Wasn't sure if they were gong to serve the purpose but I really am enjoying studying as the cards break everything down and makes it easier to learn all of the information to get ready for the Exam this year.I would definitely order other items or books from them again.
