Thumbs up
I’m pleased I bought this trap.Comes ready to use. I simply add a little bird seed or whatever to attract the mice.Having observed their common ’rat run’ or pathway the trap is laid against the wall they use to go back and forth. There’s an entrance either side so it doesn’t matter if they’re off out for the night or coming home from night shift, there’s a door facing them. I’m currently catching a couple of mice a week, but can vary depending on how many mice are in the nest(s) nearby. I clean it out each time just by running the hose over it.This trap is tamper proof to squirrels and cats. Unfortunately the trap did attract a slow worm, which got stuck trying to escape!

Solid, logical design and looks good. No mice so far though?
This trap looks really good. It's solid and a decent size. Looking at it, the design makes sense and I can't see why it wouldn't work. Sadly it has caught no mice in a month. I handled it in plastic gloves, put peanut butter inside, and sprayed the outside with watery maple syrup and peanut butter to make it attractive. Nothing! We could just have already beaten the mice, but I doubt it. Nothing much seems to work and nothing at all has for months. Out of ideas!

It works and with less stress to captives
Finally we have got rid of a family of mice in our Utility room which have evaded capture for some time. We had purchased other single rodent friendly devices but they seemed too small for the captives to spend a night in before we came down to release them and they seemed stressed. One even managed to chew the plastic door release so we had to throw it away, First night we caught two together and then single ones over the following days (sometimes none). The metal construction means it is not chewable, there is a clear viewing section on the top so you can easily see if you have any guests. Easy to clean and highly recommended.

its very strong
The metal lid is really stiff to open. It would be better with a catch . It works well and has caught mice. Much better than the plastic ones that the mice chew through and escape...

Well made
As it turns out we didn't have to use this trap... What was thought to be rodents were in fact Bees! Registered Beekeeper came out to safely remove the nest without harming the Bees.

Great device for catching very small mice
We noticed lots of tiny field mice in our garden who seemed to be enjoying the bird food being dropped at the bottom of the bird table by the birds. We looked at various humane traps but we were worried the mice were so small they wouldn't trigger any trap. This trap looked the best so we bought it. After just under 2 weeks we have caught 9 tiny mice and rehomed them in the woods about half a mile away. We used bird food as bait. The trap is just hinged one one side so easy to open for release of mice. No instructions needed, just common sense.

A 'mare to clean!
I've been using plastic traps all Spring. They were brilliant at catching mice, but even if you empty them quickly they get chewed up and wrecked in no time so I wanted something gnaw-proof.Surprisingly this trap actually caught a mouse on the first night but I've had nothing more since (which is not good value for money yet). It did not appear to be dirty after that first use - but it's not easy to clean effectively (very fiddly, complicated working parts which I daren't take apart!) so I am wondering if there is a lingering smell that is putting off more mice. It's also rather large.

Brilliant piece of kit
We had evidence of mice in our garage and being a softy I didn't want to kill them but obviously wanted rid of them. I purchased two of these. I baited them with peanut butter and the first night caught two mice in each trap. We released them a couple of miles from home and re-baited the traps but it appears we got the whole family at the first attempt.Brilliant piece of kit, robust and easy to use. I would highly recommend the product
