Hard to beat a planter box on wheels
When you live and garden in Zone 9B, and you grow tired of erecting shade enclosures, you search for an alternative method of growing vegetables. This self-water rolling planter box is what I found. Knowing I was going to grow tomato plants in this planter box, I added poles for a trellis, and based on previous reviews, I used my handy dandy glue gun to glue the water filler neck in place. This planter box rolls around my patio nicely and can be brought under cover when the afternoon sun becomes to intense.

Awesome Product!!
The media could not be loaded. I have never grown any fruit or vegetable before this and I’m hooked on the pickers. I have two large ones and a small one. My veggies grew so fast and they taste great! I’m so excited about my plants and the fact that I can grow our food. The picker made it easy and fun. I recommend this product!! Just make sure ur checking the water level in the tanks bc of the heat I’ve had to fill it three times a day! My plants needed more water but I was depending on the tanks to take care of the water. The covers that come with it makes sure you don’t have to worry about picking weeds. Also one thing that I did learn the hard way was not to plant so many. I put four plants in two rows and everything grew which made it hard for the plants. The tomatoes roots overtook the tank and left the cantaloupe with only a little water. So I had to start watering them from the top so they would get water too. They were damn near dead until I figured this out. Now I will only put one type of plant per box. It probably said it somewhere but I didn’t listen. I used crates for the vines that extended too far to be on the picker. I saw it on YouTube and decided it would work for me.I absolutely loved my experience with these containers and will use them from now on. I hope this review helps someone! 😃 HAPPY GROWING!! 🍉🍅 I grew watermelons, cantaloupe and tomatoes successfully in these pickers. Can’t wait to see what help I’ll be able to grow! 👩🏽🌾

Not good in the tropics
Not good for growing in zones 11-12. I live in a tropical Savannah climate. Going to try a different growing medium next summer like coco and moss mixture. Used recommended potting mix, all tomatoes died and we only got a single 1 inch in diameter bell pepper. Working ok for hot peppers.
