Don't think you're buying a carpentry kit— and you'll be happy
Look, the reviews on this almost turned me off and that's pretty depressing because this set is solid. I bought this set because my wife and I have a place out of town and I hated lugging my proper tools on a plane or in the car. I worked construction to pay for school before I became a software dork so I'm no stranger to a real Dewalt set and corded Milwaukee Hole Hawg right-angle drill for boring through studs before a rough wall inspection. Here's the kicker on this set— the drill bits are trash— three of them have broken off in studs for me and it's been 2 weeks, the first one broke on the first use. If you're buying this because you need to drill some holes in studs and want to have a set, don't bother. The hole saw bits aren't a lot better (but at least haven't broken on me), and the wedge hole bits are just 'fine'. The screwdrivers are way too big and kinda stupid for day-to-day use, they're closer to 'Fisher Price screw size' than anything you'll ever be using in real life.On the other hand everything else is perfectly acceptable for 'home tool set' quality— ratcheting screwdriver has been awesome, the pliers, hammer, bit shank, and tips for the shank are great. The bit shank doesn't have a collar to hold a screw but that's to be expected for the money. The drill itself is perfectly serviceable. Again— you're not going to be drilling concrete or doing a whole drywall install with this thing, but if you're hanging pictures, a few TVs, maybe screwing together some cabinets it's just fine. It's lightweight but powerful enough and functional without being overkill. Overdo it with this thing and you'll strip it out. Don't be a hero.Remember the price you paid and you'll be happy.Downsides: the flathead and phillips screwdrivers (not the ratcheting one that accepts any tip with the shank) are uselessly large— better as prying tools than for driving normal sized screws. Use the ratcheting screwdriver and the shank with a tip and you've got every screwdriver you'll ever need. The drill bits are bad. Just... honestly throw them away when you buy this; I broke two in a stud immediately and it kinda screwed up a project, no pun intended.Upsides: Lightweight and serviceable drill, 20V B&D family (I'm considering the stick vac and sander for our vacation house), great ratcheting screwdriver, sizable collection of tips, pliers are good, small tape measure has saved my ass a couple times when I lost my proper Stanley one (and my wife likes the little one better), carrying bag is thin but very usable and fits everything perfectly. The hammer is light (wife likes it, same deal) but just fine.Ideal buyer? If you know the limitations of a *home* tool set and need to restock your house after a move/divorce/breakup where you left your tools with your ex and know you'll backfill the things that break/don't work later.Less than ideal buyer? If you think you're getting a kickass drill and tool kit for a steal to start at your electrician's apprenticeship next week. Move along, spend some more cash. If you're a serious home project guy/gal and (also) think you're getting a steal on a pro set— this is not that. If you're a big tool nerd and want the latest stuff on the market— still not you.People who left horrible reviews? My best guess is former pros or current ones that were looking for a all-in-one kit for cheap. This set will kit you out for everything you want to do at home as a HOME user, for not bad cash. If you saw 'home' in my review and thought "well maybe this will be enough...", you should be looking elsewhere already. If you saw 'home' and thought "great, my 'X' just broke so I'll get this to replace it", look elsewhere. If you saw 'home' and thought "oh yeah, I have an apartment, hang pictures, mount shelves now and then, and sometimes want to screw some IKEA stuff together", pull the trigger here.

Small but strong.
Great kit. I am a woman, so I appreciate the smaller size of the drill and how lightweight it is. I have small hands, so the drill fits perfectly. And dont let its size fool you. I was able to drill in concrete walls with no problem (NOTE: the bits included are only for wood, you need to buy separately concrete drill bits). The battery lasts a long time. I did not charge it when I first received it until about 3 weeks after and it still had charge in it. Has all the tools one may need. I did buy a tool box and transferred all the tools to it, just to have everything more organized and easily visible and to temper my OCD. Great package deal. Very happy with it.

Made awesome tool drawer kit!
So far so good. I got this replaced because my original one had a loose part inside so Amazon was kind enough to replace the whole thing. I want to share how I used the original box to make a cool handy and easy to make tool drawer. My drawer was a little too small so I trimmed off one edge and relocated the tools to the side. I added 3m tape on each side to hold it in place and a towel underneath to provide more support. Love it and puts a smile on my face everytime I open the kitchen drawer hahaOnly 4 stars because although drill great it did not allow me to torque screws into my stud locations of wall to hang a huge mirror. I had the drill at level 10 and the screw got jammed halfway through. Had to muscle the rest in with a screw driver

This is less a product review and more a commentary on the seller Warehouse Deals, Inc
Be careful and test the drill (and tools/parts) immediately to avoid disappointment. This is less a product review and more a commentary on the seller Warehouse Deals, Inc.I received the product at a discounted price so can't complain too much but the accessory case was not included which makes the parts unmanageable and messy to carry in oversized tool bag. But even that can be overlooked. Biggest issue is with the drill itself and drill head to be specific. It is not centered. When I put in the screw-driver drill bit or a pilot drill bit on the drill, it doesn't rotate in one line, it's wobbly. It is defective for sure. So disappointed with the purchase but have passed the return period. So make sure to test you purchases immediately.

Love this set!
When I received the set I started to take everything out of the tray and put it in the bag that came with it... But then I remembered all the reviews saying that they didn't like having the sharp pieces floating freely in the bag. So instead of using the bag that came with it I decided to cut off the top of the box it came in and just store the kit, with the clear molded plastic that came on it, on a shelf, like pictured. We find it really handy to be able to see everything at once and for everything to have a place.

Drill broke immediately. Avoid this like the plague.
The media could not be loaded. This might be fine for screwing in stuff to drywall but anything beyond that, this drill can NOT handle. I completely charged the battery and went to work drilling a hole in my door to install a deadbolt lock. This drill broke within 2 minutes of use.Halfway through the door, it started to randomly stop every 5 or 10 seconds of use. I only got 3/4 of the way through the door before it stopped functioning completely. I had to finish the rest with my Dremel. Imagine trying to drill 2 circular holes in a solid door with a Dremel. Yeah, not fun but it worked.I am returning this drill set and will never again buy a Black+Decker product.I can't post the link in this Amazon review, but go on over to Reddit r/Tools and search for the post titled "Official r/Tools Drill/Driver Recommendation Thread". Lots of useful information over there about choosing the right tools/brands.

Good to Have Around the House
The media could not be loaded. I bought this drill set so that I could drill some holes in our desks to hide the cables.Pro: Cost, drill works fine for drilling the hole in wood, assembling IKEA firntitue, drilling pilot holes and drilling holes in drywalls for anchors decent power for the priceCons: Cheap plastic feel to drill but what do you expect? Battery life (after drilling four holes in our desks it needed to re-charge the battery. Wish the carry bag had some compartments inside but again for the price what can you expect? The best way to summarize this drill is that it’s a good drill to have around the house for small DYI things like assembling furniture, cabinets or drilling holes in drywall. Not intended for every day use. If you’re using this drill quite often or plan to build a tree house or fence then get a real one like Milwaukee, Dewalt or Makita. It’s like going to Burger King. A Junior Whopper and a real Whopper both fill you up but which one is more satisfying?

Dont buy this junk!!!
Junk --- tools are garbage-- hammer was bent ( how is that possible)Box says $150 value that should be $1.50 value --- i only got this today and i was so upset i had to cool down for a bit.Amazon should be embarrassed and Black&Decker(only a brand name-- sold off years ago) should be ashamed to stamp their name on this Dollar store tool set--- returning for refund -- shameful-- i should have read more reviews

Drill weak, tools feel cheap, possible knock off?
Drill was weak and tools felt poor quality and cheap, returned this and went to my local hardware store and bought the Black & Decker BDC120VA100 20-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion Drill Kit with 100 Accessories for 69.99 cdn and immediately noticed the difference. The drill was able to crank up to a power of 22 with a drill option (this one only goes up to 10) and the bits had a noticeably better quality. This one has a lot of (CHINA) stickers on everything making me feel like this kit is a cheap knock off of the actual Black + Decker cordless drill. I'd stay away from this one.URL to kit I bought:https://www.amazon.ca/Black-Decker-BDC120VA100-Lithium-Ion-Accessories/dp/B0079IRIG0

Great value, decent materials
This tool set was the best in value when I looked in the Spring of 2020. Great bang for your buck for anyone needing a basic kit for home maintenance and fixtures. Though the materials could definitely be higher quality, I'm not complaining for the price! This is not for professional use, so we would recommend for personal at-home use.
