Great for the novice
I was surprised when I started teaching a technology class as to how many students had not assembled LEGOs. Since we have Mindstorm kits in the classroom, I was eager to get them going with some basic instruction. This book does the trick.

Loaded With Errors
This book is loaded with serious errors. Figure 8.12 is completely wrong, Figure 8.15 is not consistent with the text. Also, on page 147, the instructions for connecting data block is incorrect; I spent several frustrating hours before I read the correct procedure in "The Unofficial Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 Inventor's Guide" by David J Perdue and Laurens Valk.

My expectations were better than book
In the book are instructions for building three robot models, quite simple (in my opinion). Book is for newbies - too many pages about counting parts, what is included, many pictures. Maybe book is for children. I wanted to study this book together with my 11 years old son, but it seems too simple... Maybe as a book for child (which is not familiar with NXT) it would be ok ? But not for those, who want something more...
