Nice ratcheting screwdriver set
Everyone likes to hate on Craftsman these days and for good reason in some cases. I still like a lot of the Craftsman products; this one included. It comes with a decent variety of bits and best the part is the telescoping magnetic bit holder. It locks into three different lengths for whatever job you’re doing. When you first look at it, it appears the bit holder doesn’t fit in the case. All you do is retract the bit holder all the way down and it fits fine. I saw a video of a guy removing the bit holder from the handle because he didn’t think it fit in the case. WARRANTY - Keep the model/part number somewhere you won’t forget. I keep the packaging with that information in the case along with where it says Lifetime warranty. Craftsman doesn’t put part numbers on a lot of their hand tools anymore. If you need to file a claim, you’ll need to be able to tell them what broke. I filed a claim a few weeks ago on a different bit holder (don’t expose the handle to glass cleaner…it gets sticky) and they sent a whole new kit to me. Without me telling them what kit I had, it might have turned into a cluster. Craftsman tried to tell me a tool I bought in the 80’s was not under warranty. Surprisingly, I had the packaging for it and sent them a picture where it said lifetime warranty next to the tool number. They replaced it.

Rachet, labels on screw heads and extender make this the kit to buy!
This is an UNBELIEVEABLY great product. The screw driver heads are magnetized so they don't fall out of the screwdriver before you begin. The grips is amazing. The head sizes are also EASY to read, unlike older sets where the sizes were engraved...these are bright and easy to find/read. This fits into tight spaces, and the ratcheting mechanism you can add on allows you to never have to let go of the screw driver to keep going in one direction. The magnetic EXTENDER is the best feature which makes it easy to reach and retrieve any of the magnetic screws that drop esp. in tight places. Easy to pack and carry and very worth the money.

Rereview: nice tool
I read all the reviews on this and “not fitting in the case” was not an issue I cared about. One of the features of the screwdriver is a telescopes. The problem is when telescoped out it does not lock in place. It should get to each notch and lock in. To release you pull the black collar back to retract it. as soon as you put pressure on it it pushes back in on its own. for the simple fact that that feature does not work is why I give it one star. I’m sending it back and getting the craftsman screwdriver with the bits inside the handle. As you can see in the pictures, I did not pull in the collar, simply push down with little to no effort.UPDATE: today I received the replacement from Amazon and this one works perfectly as it was intended. Got a lemon. As seen in other reviews I removed the snap ring so the telescope fits nicely with the magnet. Nice tool.

Insert Project Farm's "Very Impressive!" statement here.
For the cost, this little thing is a beast. To be fair, Project Farm reviewed some other Craftsman screwdrivers, and I saw this on here and was impressed by all that it had, in a small package, for a small price. It is small enough to be compact but fit into a man's hand comfortably. It does ratchet *and* telescope. It has several heads, flathead, philips, allen and torx. It fits into a basic toolbox and can even fit in a glovebox. It's also neat. I'm one of those guys who drives his wife crazy by leaving a 3 or 4 screwdrivers in every room I work in. With this, I just pack it up and take it. It's actually really nice.Is it as powerhouse of pry-bar technology? Of course not, but for simple light needs, it works really, really well. And it's only 15 bucks on sale. Very Impressive! indeed.

This is awesome
Love this set. I had it over a year. It has a tip for everything, including my weird RV screws. Only thing, I wish the case would hold the whole driver without sticking out the top.

Bought this for my husband to store on his motorcycle. Perfect size in pouch and useful tools.

a great help
really enjoy this set. the ratcheting has saved my wrists and sped up the projects upon which I used it. I wasn't sure about the carrying case's ability to fit the length of the handle and still zip closed, but everything sorted itself properly. Good value for the money for my purposes.
