I use this to protect the exterior of my molds from rust. I use wooden matches to soot up the cavities to let the bullets release.

This was the best product I hav used for casting lead in aluminum molds and worked great on my other silicone molds as well. I wish I had this years ago.

Stuff works great use it a lot in sinker making

I recently purchased this product to help me when pouring lead for fishing jigs and underspins. This stuff absolutely shocked me! Applying it was very quick and easy, and the dry time was short. Every cavity of one of my pickiest molds filled absolutely perfectly. In addition, I was able to get them out of their cavities with much more ease than normal. I wish I had a can of this when I started years ago.

I performed a casting session and used this product on both Iron alloy and aluminum alloy molds. I have to say this stuff works pretty good. Significantly better than carbonizing from candles or matches. It is also very easy to apply and dries quickly. I was glad I made this purchase and would recommend it to anyone that is having trouble with sticky molds. It improved both mold (half) separation ease and bullet drop improved significantly. At first the casting would fall out by them selves, later in the session (+100 pcs later) a lite tap was all that was needed. The only reason I only gave it 4 stars was that it is a little pricey. for a 6 oz. can. That being said, I would buy it again, it improves through-put.
