AudioQuest 0.75 m Forest USB-C > A High-Definition Audio Cable

Better than anything you can walk into a store and buy! If you’re serious enough and care enough about something like this. It’s worth it. Sound quality night and day better than a Best Buy cord or wherever else you go to get them. Durability TBD…but honestly after paying this much I’m gonna be handling this thing with gloves!

Better Clarity, separation

I’m using this Audioquest cable to connect my iPhone to the (modified)Lexicon Audio sound system in my Genesis. I've been installing and tuning car audio components for almost 20 years and I’ve never seen a before and after difference like this for ~$100.

People can argue until they are blue in the face about audio cables. As for me, I am a believer. In a good hi-fi system, every piece in the chain matters. I understand psychoacoustics, and though I have not done blind testing, I hear an improvement. Small but noticeable. I rest easier knowing my audio interconnects, speaker, and power cables are quality products made by a producer who does R&D and refines their products. It's a high quality cable and it sounds great. Could go to Cinnamon or Carbon, but Forest is excellent. Haven't had any issues.

Happy to have spent the money on this cable. As, IMHO, the most important link in my computer audio chain, this makes a difference: sounds good and well built.

Con il cavo USB in dotazione alla mia nuova scheda audio Focusrite Clarett 4 Pre avevo dei leggeri ronzii avvertibili avvicinando l'orecchio ai monitor KRK VXT 4 + Sub 10S. Sostituito il cavo con il forest ronzii scomparsi, resta il normale leggerissimo soffio. Le basse frequenze sono più precise e senza la leggerissima distorsione che avvertivo prima, le alte frequenze sono più dettagliate morbide e non vetrose come prima e le medie frequenze perfettamente a fuoco. Percettibili miglioramenti anche con le cuffie Sennheiser HD 600. Insomma, senza andare a cercare il pelo nell' audio e senza spendere cifre assurde, se vi sembra che i cavi in dotazione fanno veramente schifo o sono difettati compratevi almeno uno di questi, la sentirete la differenza !

I have been using AudioQuest for years, and it provides consistently good sound in all applications. For this particular purchase, I had SMSL SU-1 DAC that came with a thin USB A-USB C cable to feed the digital input. Sound was fine but I felt I could do better. AudioQuest Forest is not very expensive and represents a clear upgrade over that cable. Bass is firmer and better defined, highs are clean and polished, and overall sound feels very well balanced across the entire audio range. I know some people would start rolling their eyes ('bits are bits') but to me there is a clear improvement, and that is all that matters. I am using the cable at work, connected to Elgato Thunderbolt docking station which feeds my MacBook Pro, and the cable takes USB out to SMSL SU-1 DAC, which then has an old pair of Audioquest Turquise interconnects into Creative T20 speakers. It is insane how well this cheap system works, with no weak links in the chain. I mostly listen to high-res streamed music from Tidal, including 192kHz/24bit FLACs that sound great.

Deludente è il termine forse più appropriato. Sezione del cavo decisamente inferiore ad altri dal costo più contenuto. Quello acquistato presentava un difetto: piegandolo creava disconnessioni del DAC, la stessa cosa dicasi per il connettore USB-C, vero punto debole di questo cavo.
