I bought this to transition my 16 month old off of Kabrita formula. She was slow at growth and weight gain so she's been on toddler goat milk formula since 9 months of age and has done well on it. I decided to keep her on goat's milk rather than transition to cow's milk though she does occasionally drink that also. She seems to be ok with the flavor though we are currently on half Kabrita and half green goat at the moment. I've tried this milk powder myself and as a long time cow milk consumer, I think it's going to take some time getting used to. I got some glass milk bottles that I plan to eventually use goat milk powder exclusively for the family.

This is a good brand, and is far less "goaty" than the shelf stable Meyenberg goat milk. I love that this one is shelf stable, this makes it great for traveling--an important thing for people with food sensitivities or allergies!Yes, it's not as good as fresh, but what do you want? The reviews commending on disliking the taste are situational, because one simply cannot compare the taste of farm fresh milk to packaged, it's simply different. Even the powdered milk is tolerable--let's be honest, it's not fantastic, but powdered milk will always be different than fresh.

Bought this for my son who is lactose intolerant, he drank it and said it didn’t taste bad.
