Never used too expensive to get the key cut, so brought the housing instead

Nice to have as a spare / backup.Can't put your own blade in unfortunately but doesn't cost much to take this to a cutter and have your original key blade duplicated.You can then pop your transponder into this shell and it works fine.Ideal if your original key casing cracks or has broken and a hell of a lot cheaper than the £236.40 quoted at Lexus for a who new key.

Super easy to install, with the button module just being one piece. Please be aware that you NEED TO take your blade to a shop to be cut.Other than this (which is by no means a downside) it’s a great quality item, and much cheaper than going to a dealer!!

I had these cut at a laser cutter and they would not work at all. The second I had done manually also no good. What a waste of money

Says in description that you can swap with original key blade, this is not possible

My original Key suddenly cracked and fell apart, it was the only key I had for the Lexus so was very pleased to find a replacement so cheaply on Amazon. You need to find a Key Cutter to replicate the key design, but then you simply unscrew the casing and move the electrical part over and it works perfectly! For around £5 you cannot complain.
