This track was half as good as my 10" track. If you enjoy hooking the track pieces together, get two of these and you'll have twice as much fun as as with a 10" piece.

I purchased this to add on to my Lionel set at Christmas. Works as it should and sometimes, you need the short sections.

Quality product. Worth the money.

Works very well but costs a lot for what it is.

You want to put your train under the Christmas tree, sure, but it can rarely be a pure oval or circle. This can create stress on track connections. This short piece of track gives you the offset that you need to recreate a perfect matching pattern with no connector stress.

The five inch section is helpful for several track configurations such as a figure 8 or if you just want to extend your track a bit. Note that you can also buy straight track sizes of 1 3/8, 1 3/4, 4 1/2, 5, 10, and 30 inches. You can combine the smaller sizes to fill almost any size gap. The main challenge with Fastrack is that it is expensive. Only buy the smaller sizes to fill a specific gap. The small track sections cost almost as much as the 10 inch sections.

I made the track that came with the Polar Express Lionchief set into a circular square to fit onto my round dining room table which fits kind of small. I ordered two 5" tracks to lengthen my track layout 2.5" on both sides and now it fiits perfectly on my round dining room table. I'll try to post a picture of my setup
