Does what it says
it works as it should should have gotten a size smaller, but the wearer is immobile, so it still stays in place and has elevated the pain and sore development on the ankle bone

Ankle Keeper
This ankle keeper is cheaply made. The material is slippery and the foam cushions are very hard and if your skin is sensitive or if you have an open wound, this (in my opinion) can do more damage to your foot. Unfortunately, I was unable to return this item. What a waste!

Measure carefully!
I love the idea of this. I followed the instructions for measuring to get the right size, but I think the “boot” is still too large - it slides onto the pressure point (ankle) when it is supposed to stay in place around the ankle. I think I will try to take this boot in, perhaps that will improve the fit.

Please be certain to measure around the ankle where it says to & then order the appropriate size!
This has been working well for my Mom. She has a pressure ulcer/small wound on her distal ankle. This slips into place & stays that way. It keeps the wound from touching the bed while sleeping. Yes, we would recommend it.

Be careful of sizing.
The product is very nice; soft but supportive. However, I couldn't find a size guide until I opened the box! Too big. It did provide relief but I hope the smaller one I ordered will do better. Maybe I missed the size guide but I couldn't see where you were supposed to measure to get the right size.

Acceptable to even a very finicky patient
I originally purchased one for my very elderly uncle, because he has had recurring pressure wound on one ankle, due to his sleeping habits. He has rejected all prior attempts by us for him to wear a cushioning 'sock', being very uncooperative patient resisting all other prior cushions on chair or bed. Yet recently he ASKED for a second cushioning sock, for his other foot! so I bought another one for him!
