Heavy duty! Works great!
Bought this to replace 2 50W drivers that were undersized by a cabinet contractor that didn’t know electrical. The old drivers flickered and were running hot. This was easy to install. Ran it with lights full for 24 hours and temp stayed under 104f. No flickering at any dimming point.

A little bent in shipping, but works perfectly!
The media could not be loaded. After receiving the item in a somewhat bent/damaged condition, I am happy to report it works and works really well! The mounting tab at the top was bent pretty badly in shipping, but I figured I would give it a go anyway before I contacted anyone to complain about it as it is not exactly something to display itself. I straightened the tab and proceeded to wire it up to approximate 65 ft of LED strip lights wired in parallel and attached to a Lutron Diva magnetic low voltage dimmer. I am super happy with the results! It stays cool to barely warm to the touch after installing it in a closet. I have had it powered on for almost 12 hours straight without any hint of a temperature problem. I was nervous about it being a fire risk based on other reviews I saw, but have zero concerns now. The dimmer functions flawlessly with the driver and the LEDs stay cool to the touch. I have absolutely smooth control of the lighting from almost complete darkness to bright as daylight. There isn't even a perceptible hum like other reviews I've read, it is silent! I cannot be happier!

Works well!
Very easy install, even for a non-electrician. Works quite nicely.

LED standards seem to be lax or dependent on each manufacturer. Tolerances are wide and hard to match. Good luck! MfG!
Almost flawless, this 150W power converter is perfect with the following dimmer.Lutron MSCL-VP153M-WH MaestroThis dimmer is programmable, auto on with motion, timer, intensity settings easy to install and setup. The wiring of this is that the power is applied through the dimmer then to the 150W power then to the lights. Finally, my LED nightmare is over. A custom project using 12V (low voltage) strip LED lighting was bringing tears to my eyes just thinking about it because the LED power (driver) constantly hummed, flashed the lights at any setting and basically had me on the verge of demolishing new construction to rewire for 120v LED lighting. I also found that no dimmer switches worked at all. So, I researched and found this baby. I have custom light panels created by a craftsman (See pics) that needed components that were not supplied by the manufacturer of the light strips.

Great product
Great driver to use when installing a lot of LED strip lights.

Solid build, happy with performance
The media could not be loaded. I made the mistake of getting a different cheaper driver that couldn’t be dimmed with a light switch. This however, is built for that function and I love it.

Don’t Buy
Bought 2 40 watt 12 volt drivers. Installed 2 drivers for 4 puck lights each. Lights turned on for about a minute and lights started flickering and found out the drivers were putting out 23 volts. It ruined 8 $60 a piece puck lights that I now have to replace and pay out of pocket for a customer of mine. I have used this brand before with no problems until now. Obviously they were packaged with the wrong label and specs and were 24 volt drivers. Do not buy

Works with Lutron Caseta
I'm using this to power outdoor Hampton Bay LED landscape lights. I control the transformer with a Lutron Caseta wall dimmer, which is scheduled with the Lutron Hub and App. This transformer works perfectly. Dimming is very smooth with no flickering. The transformer is very quiet - you can only hear a faint hum if you get close to it.I purchased the 150 watt transformer to power approximately 100 watts in total LED fixtures. Always buy a larger transformer than you require. National Electrical Code requires a 20% safety margin, so 120 watts is the most you should load a 150 watt dimmer.
