Precisely What I've Been Looking For!
I've always loved that bright Hollywood-style makeup vanity look. Finding a vanity set in the right style and size with a lighted tri-fold mirror was near impossible to find in a price range that I was willing to pay. This set of wired globes was exactly the finishing touch that I needed for the secondhand vanity that I refurbished for my 6-year-old's "Princess Palace" style bedroom.First off, don't be in a rush to remove the lights from the box system. Take your time with this process to avoid tangling and losing your place. I located the power end first, then worked my way to the other end. Before adhering the lights to the mirror, I carefully draped them in a single line over my right shoulder since I was working from right to left. This kept them from bunching and clanging together. Having a good helper for this part would be great too.Next, I would suggest plugging the lights in before installing to make sure they are all working properly. Depending on where the outlet that you are going to use for setup is located, it would be a good idea to start your installation from the power end so that you can be sure that the plug's reach, the power button, and the positioning of the first bulb on that end are to your liking.Installing the lights took some time, patience, and careful planning. What I found helpful was to map out the arrangement with pieces of painter's tape for correct spacing. During the installation process, I quickly found the suction cups to work much better than expected. They stick very firmly but can be removed and reset if adjustments are needed. I would advise giving them a lighter press until you have achieved the placement that you desire, then go back around and press them more firmly. As I placed each bulb, I wrapped some of the wire around the base, being sure that wherever I stopped wrapping would be on whichever side was the closest edge of the mirror. That way, when I would place the following bulb, I could tuck the excess between the joints where the mirrors folded. I preferred this method to only winding the wires and having them show on top of the mirrors. The method I used created a much cleaner look, where the wiring is almost undetectable (as shown in the 2nd photo). Also, the hinges between the mirrors made for good anchoring points. I continued this pattern of sticking, winding, and tucking until the last bulb was in place. When my daughter came home from her weekend away, she was thrilled to see that her vanity lights were installed and ready to illuminate her smiling face. We both love the many levels of adjustable brightness that be achieved by pressing and holding through the 10 stages. We tend to keep them somewhere in the middle. When you turn the lights off they remember your last setting. So it's nice not having to reset the brightness each time. Only a light touch is needed to activate/deactivate the lights and because I placed the button on the vanity between the right-most mirror and her perfume tray, she is able to easily access it by herself, without it being in the way of her primping. Now when she plays with her pretend makeup, she has optimal lighting and as soon as I finish making her vanity seat, she will no longer need to sit on her toilet lid to get her hair done. This has been a super purchase! The quality is everything that I had hoped for and for a terrific price. Once I find the right makeup vanity for myself, I will surely be back to purchase another set.

EASY TO SET UP - WORKS WELL
Won't give it 5 stars yet, because longevity is an issue. Easy to put up, the control works well (changes from LED lighting to "daylight" mode).

Keep searching
Crappy product. Very frustrating that lights refuse to be turned off using the switch, and so have to be unplugged and plugged back in for each and every use. This of course, is discovered after they are stuck to mirror.Look elsewhere!! Not very bright either.
