Great mic for deeper voices
I want to start off with saying that each mic suits people differently depending on recording space and voice type. For me, this one has been the best. I'm a lady with a deep, baritone kinda voice and my home space is a closet with low budget sound absorption--aka blankets and some foam. This mic works perfectly for what I have. It's got the right balance of sensitivity and gives my voice the warmth and depth that some of the more commonly-recommended mics just didn't happen to do for me. Last one I tried was the popular AT 2020, but on me it took a lot of body out of my recordings. Works great for a lot of my friends, but not so much for me. Hopefully this review helps to save y'all too much trial-and-error( and $$).

Hmmmm🖤❄️🔥🖤☔️
I have the Rode K2 I bought the K1 just to see the difference & I must say on using both I love them both the k1 perfect for vocals the k2 perfect for instruments like for a band but also vocals come out nice so get the k2 if you are in a band & the k1 is perfect for vocals if that’s all you need .

Two worked - both eventually went out
I have had two of these, one going out just after a year of light use. The one from 2019 just stopped working yesterday. I was able to get nearly 5 years of use out of it. I have several other mics, both wired and wireless. This exact model has been the only one that has gone out twice. It is a great product when it was working, but I will stay clear of this model now. Very light periodical use, and never abused or dropped.

Fantastic Mic
Of course behind any good sounding mic is a good pre amp, but this one carries its weight pretty well. This mic has a solid metal build and a wide, warm sounding range. The pick up on this mic is incredible. I've used it for acoustic instruments, vocals, distorted and amped guitars, etc. I love it. I recommend it. Personally, I don't think quality could get much better than this (as a non-tube mic) until you start emptying your pockets in the thousands range.

Excellent professional microphone
I've been a professionaly voice actor for over 30 years and worked with all types of microphones. This is my favorite. I purchased it to replace a Rode NT1, It exceeded my expectations. You can't go wrong with this. Low noise, crisp, full bass...everything you want. I was debating on spending twice as much on another microphone. Glad I didn't.

Bought a month ago and it died
I own several mics and interfaces - two Scarlett Focusrites multiple shure mics including a SM7B and literally used this mic for a week and it died. Tried swapping between interfaces and confirmed it isn’t working.Amazons 30 day return window literally just hit so I’m writing this to give everyone else a heads up.
