Its works well and installed easy with the tool they give you..only the bottom of the buckle is lower than the rest of the buckle housing/ body , so it digs in your skin after a while..

I’m not a person that takes time to write negative reviews, but trust me when I tell you…. The clasp looks great and I really wanted it to work out. It looks so good that I even considered keeping it despite the clasp opening without notice. In the end I found myself closing it back more then 20-30 times daily (no exaggeration). Save your money, time for a refund😩

great clasp for the price. The mechanism is very secure, but it could have had a little more of a curvature to it so it doesn't indent into the wrist as much. Comfortable enough for all-day wear and the quality of stainless steel seems to be good. I have been wearing it for a couple of weeks now and looking at it today there no easily noticeable scratches, blemishes or discoloration.

I purchased a couple of Stauer 1930 automatic wrist watches for myself and my grandson. I wondered ifanybody made a "quick release clasp" for leather watch bands, as that's what came with the Stauer watch.So I went to Amazon, to see if such a thing was available. This is why I love Amazon, there it was. After doing my research I settled on this one. After assembly,(no instructions come with the unit) I tried closing it. After a couple of tries, I figured out that what was the buckle side wanted to be latched first. That is before you slide the strap end into loops on buckle side. I don't know what all those other people were talking about with it pinching them, sharp edges digging into their skin or the actual unit shape being uncomfortable to wear. I have experienced none of the criticisms listed above. Infact if I didn't know I was wearing it now, well lets just say I have no complaints with this purchase, and I don't normally write reviews for Amazon.

The latch looks good with an excellent finish however the latch mechanism will not stay latched. The latching pins do not appear to be sufficient to hold, popping open without movement. Not worth the money!

I usually use Hadley Roma for a deployant clasp but thought I would try one of these, the price was irresistable. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the clasp and the rose gold plating looks well done. So far it is working fine on my Parmigiani gold watch.
