A life saving discovery, literally!!
I don't have a lot of space, so I will try to be as precise as possible. Derma Gel saved my cat's (named boo boo) life. This is not an exaggeration. My 7 year old cat had to have her tail amputated due to a fibro sarcoma tumor, low grade. This area for a cat is very difficult to re-bandage repeatedly. It was so bad that the cat had to go under anesthesia every other day so that the vet could change the bandage. Upon completion of the surgery, he immediately cultured the area. Unfortunately 5 days later the culture came back positive for pseudonoma, which is one of the worst for cats. I had been researching, contacting vets and people all over the globe, trying to figure out an alternative. I was given a second chance through Derma Gel. The cat was being treated orally with baytril at 45mgs per day for a 13lb cat, which was risky as at that dose it could have caused blindness. Topically the culture said only the ingredients in bacitracin would combat the pseudonoma. I still did not have an answer for the necessary bandage changing and cleaning. in one fell swoop this is what Derma Gel was capable of accomplishing. No bandaging required, creates a soft and moist healing while after oxidizing creates a small but secure shell to protect the wound. attacks and kills pseudonoma, and no pain for the cat. The vet waited too long to remove the sutures, so last Wednesday he removed them along with 90% of the granulating/healing process. It was like starting over. He recultured and came back with a yeast infection. Not to fear Derma Gel was here. Since last Wednesday I took the cat off the baytril because eyes became very crusty and leaky. No matter, since then it took 5 days and the wound is healed. There is a small scab that is almost gone now and the cat (still e collared) is looking forward to tomorrow's cone removal, This all within one week, where using the topical and oral antibiotics would not heal for 3 weeks and it looked like additional amputation was the only way left to try again. I am not a vet, nor a salesperson for Derma Gel. I admit I was really scared going against the "regular way". I thank god for giving me the strength to do so, and most importantly to Derma Gel for saving my cat's life. This may seem odd, but now I owe a life, and so if anyone reads this and it helps them too, or you have any questions, please email me. I want to pay it forward. Sincerely, David Kochman, [email protected]

Amazing stuff! Must have first aid for dogs
Love this product. My dog cut her paws last year and we had to wash and wrap her wounds and use this amazing stuff. Healed it in a week. $55 from vet,$25 from Amazon with a little bonus tube. Can't be that it really does work miracles! Great to have on hand.

The best first aid treatment for minor is injuries for pets.
Amazing product. I always have it on hand for the various injuries my retired racehorse manages to sustain in the pasture.

Helping my rescue dog
I have a rescue dog with an ulceration caused by long neglect of a cyst. (She was very neglected and had not been bathed or shorn for a long time, She had huge infestation of fleas, matted hair, ingrown hair, cysts and was a nervous wreck from living outside in a backyard and not being given anything but food and water. Poor thing. The owner got sick and was unable to properly care for her, so she called out for help and I got a call to come and rescue this dog. I'm glad I did--she's a sweetie and my other dog LOVES her and needed a pal.) I have multiple veterinarians, attempting to fix it and it's very resistant to healing. This dog can't be anesthetized due to a moderately severe heart murmur and her age (she's a standard poodle and sadly, that is a common health issue in these dogs, along with cysts.) After courses of antibiotics and full time wearing of an E-collar, she still has the ulcer. I had the area professionally cleaned and we applied this gel. While the ulcer is still there, the margins look like they are coming together a bit, and the area has stayed clean. I plan to have another session to debride the area and see if they will try some more antibiotics and apply the gel again to the cleaned ulcer. This is a very stubborn problem in dogs, well, any species, humans too! So I still rely on professional dog care but this seems to help out. This is not a permanent cure--but it is a good assist to the healing process. This ulcer is in a place where bandaging is not possible (flank) so it works a bit like a bandage to keep the area moist and clean after debridement. Ask your vet if this can help.

Safe for cats and really helps with healing
One of the stray cats we look after outside turned up with a very badly infected abscess from a bite wound. The vet cleaned and drained it but it was in a poor location for bandages or stitches. I confined him in the bathroom to heal. He desperately wanted to keep licking the wound and wouldn't tolerate even a soft e-collar being somewhat wild. In searching for ideas to help him heal I stumbled across this product and thought why not, and bought it. The cat still wanted to lick the wound at first but within a few days stopped bothering it much. I applied the Derma Gel three times a day with a clean gauze pad. It started looking better almost immediately. It has now been about three weeks and he is still healing, but nearly there now. It was an open wound with the muscle exposed, about 1 1/2" wide and 3" long once the vet cleaned it and cut away the zagged edges. It is is now about the size of a dime! I was sure it would simply fill in with scar tissue, but it now looks like it might close up all the way and he will have little if any scarring. This is amazing stuff!

Amazing!!
I have been battling a head wound/abscess on my cat since before Thanksgiving. He was bitten or scratched in a fight and had pieces of tooth or claws work their way out of the injury. After that it abscessed and I've been trying to heal him up for months. I saw this gel recommended in a ask/answer forum and figured I might as well give it a try. The photos are from Monday, March 27, 2017 to today March 31, 2017. I am amazed at how quickly it has closed up and I am hoping this is the end of a long ordeal for my old buddy. **Update 4/19/17: Wound is completely healed and hair is almost filled back in. And I have a lot left over if he gets in another fight. Derma gel did in less than a month what 4 months of everything else couldnt...Infection is gone, wound is closed! The last picture is almost a week old.

This seemed to work better than the prescription gel for our dogs hot spot and had the hair growing back quick. Awesome stuff to have on hand.

My cat has had a sore in the crease of her leg for almost a week (She overgrooms normally but recently lost her companion so it’s gotten worse and she caused a sore) - we’d tried surgical vests which unfortunately only just didn’t cover it, tried cutting a baby grow to wear as pants (lengths you go to) and the cone of shame but nothing worked for her to leave it alone! The vet couldn’t do too much for the positioning of it and her anxiety meant that she would get stressed with the cone on. I ordered this as a last resort as didn’t know what to try - I was quite dubious especially as it was £31 to get it for next day delivery (have to order minimum of 2 tubes). Honestly, it’s worked like a miracle cure! The image on the right was taken on Sunday morning before the gel arrived (started using it at 2pm on Sunday) and image on the left was taken Tuesday morning so you can see the improvement in just 2 days. We have used it twice a day straight after treating it with salt and water. It’s safe for her to lick although she doesn’t like the taste so she’s left it alone which is a bonus. It has a slight herbal smell but you and the cat don’t notice it unless you smell the tube! It’s worth every penny and I’ll be recommending it to friends and family!
