To be honest, when I first received the lamp was going to return it when I saw you had to put the lampshade together. I thought this was pretty rinky dink. Kept it in the box for 29 days, decided to put it together and use it in the basement. Well, got it all assembled, made the lampshade (very simple), looked so nice. It proudly stands in the livingroom. Decided I wanted a brighter light so installed a 75 watt LED. An LED is acceptable because the wattage is much lower than an incandescent bulb. So, glad I ordered it. Great value and nice design.

I absolutely love these lamps (bought two)! They are super sturdy, were easy to assemble and look GREAT in my living room. I also love that I can turn it on with a switch just under the bulb or with the "foot switch" on the cord.

The lamp is what I expected it to look like. Unfortunately it arrived with a broken head but I really liked the lamp so I just ordered a replacement. It's not cheaply made, it just looks like when it was packaged it wasn't done properly. Not the sellers fault, more the manufacturer needs to pay attention. Seems like the exact same situation was found with other customers. I am still happy because for $50 this is a great lamp. Things happen and Amazon helped me out. All good!

This is a really nice floor lamp for the money. Easy to assemble. Don’t know why others say the shade is difficult and need two people? Not so. I did it myself in 3 min. It’s actually a nice looking shade with some texture. Good size for me and live that you can turn on and off with pull chain. Super purchase

The lamp is very flimsy and cheaply made. There is a switch at the top of the lamp and one on the cord but neither of them work. The lamp doesn't work. The switch on the top doesn't even feel like it is connected to anything. Almost as if it was a part of a different lamp that they just scraped together to make this one.The was also delivered with the light bulb crushed into little pieces. This may have happened in transit but wouldn't have happened if there was any bubble wrap or protection in the box. Everything about this lamp is garbage. Don't bother.

The lampshare is much more of a light beige than it appears in the photo. You have to roll the lampshade into the velcro liner to assemble it. It was also wobbly.

It looks ok but pretty flimsy and wobbles. Shade looks a bit crooked. Definitely would not but again.I actually bought this as a replacement for a previous one I ordered from the same manufacturer that was defective. I ordered a different model. So this one works at least.
