Crimson TraceLG-446 Lasergrips Laser Sight with Heavy Duty Construction and Instinctive Activation for Springfield Armory XD9 and XD40, Defensive Shooting and Competition

I have an XD(M) 9mm 3.8 compact. I seen that crimson trace did not have them specifically for my gun. I read lots online that these may fit. I got them today and they are a fantastic fit. I have the medium back strap, and as you see have Talon grips I added under. So that may have made the fit even better. But honestly, it looks like it could have been made for this gun. It's a snug fit which is good, and doesn't seem to have any movement which is good. I love it. My second crimson trace laser I have purchased. Other was for a 1911. Highly recommend

Excellent product engineered for performance and reliability. Installed easily by snapping into place on my XD sub .40. My job requires a firearm that is easy to access, reliable, and accurate, and this is the best option for my service weapon. I really like how easy it is to acquire the target, and with a good trigger technique this gun just won't miss. I honestly think that this device has reduced the stress factor by at least 50%. It is quality built and easy to service. No more iron sights to try and line up on target while thinking about the right trigger action. Believe me the price is well worth the peace of mind. Best money I have spent on an accessory for my XD sub.

This was my first crimson trace product and I love it. I've had other laser sights before the kind that fit on the picatinny rail but didn't like them. This laser grip is well worth the money love the way it looks actually make the grip better for me, I have a crossbreed holster and glad that I can still use this holster with laser grips, Came factory sighted in didn't have to mess with sighting it in at all laser is nice and bright can see it even in bright light situations, pressure switch is easy to manipulate, the product its self took about 1 min to install fits great on xd 40 would by crimson trace products again.

First I want to say the product fit the the handle of my FX9 perfectly to a point. The issue I had with the Crimson Trace LG-446 Lasergrips Laser Sight was it didn't account for the slide release on the right side of the gun. It was so close to being a perfect fit I decided to modify it to allow for the slide release. To make it work I had to break out my Dremel Tool and very gently remove and shape the plastic around the laser so it would not be pushed out wide by the slide release. Now the laser can be adjusted to the sights.

I have several Crimson Trace lasers for multiple devices. This one was a bit weird the way it installed and took a bit of forcing to get it to fit. I prefer the models that replace the grips completely.

If you own a gun that you want to use for defensive purposes you must get a laser. Some people claim they dont need them, but i bet you most of them havent been in a combat situation. The laser offers you an advantage during a high stress situation. Once properly calibrated you just point and shoot. When someone is attacking you, you dont have time to look through the sights. AMAZON, like usually had the best price for this product. Do yourself a favor and buy this, you will not regret it.

...but it is more difficult than I thought it would be to set up and zero. I installed this on an XD40 subcompact and the piece that covers the holding pin would not fit. Also, the beam was difficult to zero. I went through 50 rounds to get it to zero at 10 yards. However, it is the only laser that I could find for the XD that is both intuitive (i.e. comes on when grip the gun) and can be used with standard holsters.

Honestly it is pretty badass and simply different it’s definitely a must have and super natural feels good and again natural. Love it.-Bree
