I find it easier to clean when cold, wipe excess residue/BBQ juices off with kitchen towel, then wash up as normal.

Slightly more expensive than most but so much better quality, a must buy 😁

these are completely non-stick, so ideal for cooking burgers. If there is any downside it is that the fat collects on it and needs sweeping off into the BBQ, so that can cause some lary flames - good theatricals, but the burn-marks don't come off the sheet very well - that is why this is four stars, but food and grease just washes off.I think we have got the knack now of half-cooking on the sheet so the burgers are firm enough to sit on top of a BBQ grill rather than stick to it, to try and stop the issue of having to sluice off the fat. It is also good for chicken strips and other food that threatens to fall through a grill.I suppose the only question i would have is what are the other 3 sheets in the pack for? We are BBQing most weekends and the first sheet is surviving just fine.

After trying many different BBQ mats I have at last found one that actually works ... Although more expensive they are Teflon woven sheets which cheaper options aren’t ... Picture 1 shows the mat after use & it wiped clean with just washing as you would a dinner plate ... Picture 2 shows a cheaper option that didn’t wipe clean & after washing shows scorch marks & some coating came away which must have been stuck to a kofta ... I highly recommend this product

Used to used black teflon sheet and saw these ‘copper’ ones. Works very well and easier to wash when you can see the carbon leftovers of BBQ sauce.Cooks very well in centre of a Webber BBQ with Webber briquettes. Can be moved directly above heat for fast, no burn cook.Gave one sheet to friend who insists on pouring fats from sheet into fire and ‘cleaning’ sheet with fire. His solidified and disintegrated and only lasted a couple of weeks. Mine is still like new.

No instructions or any info at all on the box or packaging, so didn't know whether to wash them first, or indeed whether I could cut or fold them etc. However, I've used them (and probably abused them!) and they work brilliantly for marinated small pieces of chicken, vegetables etc. I tried using them for burgers & sausages but the mesh is really small, so the excess fat doesn't drain through - meaning I prefer the sausages & burgers to be done separately. Overall, very happy with the purchase.
