I have been trying to get my 25 year old warmbloods tail to be healthy, and grow full and long and MTG really works to help this. It doesn't smell good, so where gloves when applying it, and apply it at night - if you put it on in the daytime, it can cause burns, so I only use it when I bring my horses in for the night. But I just rub a little bit between my gloves, then apply to the base of his tail and massage it in. I then run my gloves through the rest of his tail, and leave it alone - no brushing. I do this about 2 to 3 times a week, and the results show! His tail is getting better! This stuff may not smell good, but it works, and a little goes a long way. A 32 ounce bottle will last forever it seems. I received my MTG in good condition, it did leak a little in the box causing the Amazon driver to call me and ask if I still wanted it, and I was like of course I do! Obviously they have never smelled MTG - it must have smelled pretty bad to the driver! But the MTG was put into a plastic bag, and only a small amount had leaked out, so not a big deal. I'm just glad they didn't put anything else in the box when they shipped it - otherwise that could have been really bad.

I LOOOOOVE this product.. I bought it because i had cut my hair pixie style because dying it just fried my hair. So i wanted my hair to grow full and healthy and i bought mega tek at first, that worked and smelled wonderful, but now that my hair was in the middle of my back it stopped growing like if thats the length it was going to stay.. I used to have long hair down to my butt and it always grows fast, but i get tired of maintaining it so i cut it through out the years... Anyway, I wanted to try a new product because the mega tek leaves your hair hard like once it dries up, like the way hair gel does. This MTG is oily/greasy, and to me it smells like bacon grease. I wear it at night so it can seep into my head and I dont have to be around people and have them ask "what's that smell?" LOL But i found a solution to that smell I added peppermint drops. I've experiemented with different oils to mask the odor. Coconut, Jamaican black castor oil, moska oil, cinnamon, and well there was always that lingering "bacon" smell until I tried peppermint.. I never measured anything in spoons or drops, I just kept pouring and skaing the bottle until I didnt smell it anymore. Or at least it didnt have a strong odor. And yes My hair has grown since then... But i added some highlights and the damn same thing happened my hair was damaged some but at least now i'm confident that I dont have to wait forever for my hair to grow.. And yes this product WILL MAKE YOU SHED.. I feel the more you use it, your scalp (body) will get used to it and you wont shed as much, but im reading shedding is like a phase you go through- so idk what to tell you about that just that you will lose hair (not like you're going to be bald, but it gets scary) and that it will be over.. I love this stuff! A little bit about why I bought it: I had my hair color treated to be blonde. I decided to dye my hair a darker color. The colorist went WAY too dark and I hated it. So I bleached my hair to get it back to its original color. I’m doing that I had to chop off like 6 inches! I was absolutely crushed because my hair never grows and it was actually long for the first time in my life. I tried the hair Jazz shampoo and conditioner and it did nothing. I tried the it works hair pills, they didn’t work. I have used this oil before so I looked through my order history and ordered it again. How I use it: I shake the bottle good to get it all mixed up. Then I use a dropper to suck up the oil and then put it directly on to my scalp. I used a generous amount on my scalp only then tie it up. I usually sleep with it in but sometimes I leave it on for an hour then wash out. YES it smells like burnt bacon. But honestly the smell is a small price I am willing to pay for faster hair growth. And to me it’s not even that bad. I’ve been using it about every 5 days and I’ve seen about 2.5 inches of growth. I use my necklace for reference I’m going to try to heat the oil before I put it on my scalp, by heating water in a bowl then placing the a ramikin of the oil into the hot water. (I’ve read that heated oil can kill the properties that help the growth) I’m also going to try to massage it into my scalp while sitting in a chair and putting my head down between my knees. This helps the blood flow to the scalp to boost growth even more. I’m extremely happy with this product. It’s the first thing that has worked for me! I am a 28 year old white female

I'm going to be 100% honest. I have been using this since it was delivered to my home which was about Feb 6th 2015. I gave it 4 stars because my only issue with this product was the smell. I am seeing some growth, but I'm kinda not sure if that's what it is or if it's just the PLACEBO EFFECT. I mixed this with Jamaican Black Castor Oil and Navratna Hair Oil in an applicator bottle and set aside the big bottle of M-T-G under my sink incase my concoction wasn't working 😢. I even watched videos on YouTube to see the overall results. After watching these videos I realized no one kept up with their progress. No one REALLY made a follow up saying "Omg this has worked for me. My hair is not some odd inches long after some odd months of using this product, and here are the results (shows pictures)." So I kinda have doubt. But enough of that, here's my list of pro's and con's. Pro's : ☆ I have noticed a texture change. Not drastic but I've notice when washing my hair (I am 11 months post relaxer/transitioning) that my new growth is softer after shampooing and usually my hair is a bit fragile and brittle after shampooing. When I condition, my new growth curls just pop more. My relaxed ends aren't as gross looking either but I think once I cut those puppies off then I'll really see some growth? ☆ I have noticed SOME growth around my nape and edges. My what is popularly called "baby hair" is fuller and less messy than what it used to be it's kind of hard to explain because not everyone has this problem. I was born with a head full of hair and it was somewhat long and my "baby hair" was full and beautiful. After years of relaxing it began to look spraggley if that's the correct term LOL. I was never balding just broken off. ☆ I have notice SOME growth in the crown area of my hair but again nothing drastic. Some hair in the front is touching past my chin a bit. The back however is a different story and I wish it would just grow already!! 😂 Con's : ○ IT STANKS!!!!!! IT SMELLS LIKE ALL OF THE ABOVE YOU'VE BEEN TOLD OR READ: DIRTY GRILL RACKS. BURNT BACON. BACON GREASE. CHARCOAL AFTER GRILLING ALL DAY. YES IT ABSOLUTELY DOES. HOWEVER!!! Navratna Oil has made this somewhat better. That's my only con really. I will update this within a month to track the progress unlike unreliable youtubers.

The only product that keeps my horses skin clear of hives and fungus. My 1/2 Arabian suffers from skin fungus any time it rains. I put this on and the skin heals almost overnight. I have another horses that suffers from hives from fly bites. This oil is a life-saver. No other product works as well.

I thought it would be highly odor offensive, but it is not. It smells like liquid smoke. All I have to say is my dogs are enjoying the massage they get when I apply it. I have 4 frenchies. My 2 pups got some type of dermatitis. They must of had a reaction to either fly bites or peanut butter. I don't know. But there are biting flies around where I live. I think the special colored dogs are more inclined to be more reactive to skin disturbances. My 2 other older Frenchies have no issues, but they got a treatment anyway due to jealousy, lol. Anyway, my dogs are crated. So I can really oil them up. This is only day 2 of treatment and it definitely seems to have calmed things down. They have those bald patches of various sizes with raised crusting bumps. They have had many different treatments. Some of which definitely calmed it down, but lets see if this knocks it out. I was also surprised it did not irritate my skin. I have really sensitive skin. I thought it would dry them out. But amazingly my skin seems to be doing fine. I will update this in 2 weeks.

This product is amazing. My horse is so sensitive to fly bites. This year she has had 2 reactions from bites this summer alone. I slathered the mtg on the area that was affected and pretty much her whole body in the morning and by the end of the day I could tell a big difference. By the next morning it was almost 100% better. I also gave her benadryl twice a day and put a fly sheet on her but I truly believe the mtg is a miracle product. Thankful to have thought to give it a try. Also her name and tail are filling in and look better than ever. The smell is not so good and the oil on it can ruin your clothes so wear barn clothes you don't mind messing up if your diva horse shakes and gets it on you. Price is kind of high. Some stores have it cheaper but if you can get it for under $17 then go for it. The cheapest I have gotten it is for just under 13 at a feed store. Great product though and worth the money if you have to spend the extra few bucks. Unfortunately the bottle came to me busted through amazon because there was just 2 air bags in it. Fortunately none leaked out though so I will just change over product to my old stinky bottle.

I have been using this inconsistently for a few months now. When I first started to use it my hair natural and I used it every night for a few weeks. I now have relaxed hair and found it to be too oily to use daily as my hair strands are already very fine. (My hair has less body and volume now so it feels weighed down by this product). It definitely increased my growth rate by about half an inch monthly, but it causes excessive shedding too. Because of the shedding I haven't been consistent as I should/could be. Recently on wash day following using this I added some garlic to my shampoo and washed it and the shedding reduced greatly so now that I have found a way to combat the shedding I will use the MTG 3 times a week for increased growth and thickness. *I noticed a lot of people complaining about the scent. It isn't that bad in my opinion. I actually use it and go outside and about my daily routine with it. I am not heavy handed and a little goes a long way. Pros: Grows out and thickens hair increases growth rate in a short time Cons: Not the best smell but not the worst Very oily- leaves my hair feeling weighed down Causes shedding
