Chess Champion
This is a great teaching tool and for just playing yourself when no one you know shares your love of the game.Very good for traveling and for would be easy to use for the younger tech group, however I have to read everything too get to what level I want.Great gift.

Good overall
This seems to be a good quality unit. It is somewhat small (6 inch square board). LCD screen is backlight and the only sound is beeps which can be turned off. You will need to go to their website and download the complete 48 page manual to utilize all the features such as the 7 other games and the 100 exercises and solutions. The quick start manual included is inadequate.

Cheaply made
After getting it 2 days ago and playing this twice, the chess board top separated from the base and will not stick back down.

PERFECT FOR OFFICE BREAK TIME
I love this chess set it's small and compact a little confusing to do things but you learn. The only thing I can't figure is how to castle that's all

Anybody Know How to Use It?
Even at this seemingly low price it's not worth the money. It"s apparently a learn by trial and error device since I could find no instructions. And. no. I'm not talking about the rules of chess, I'm talking about how to change difficulty levels, how to escape (ESC?!) the recursive "press this to do this, press that to do that" nonsense that continually interrupts (and effectively ends) the game. In sum, extremely poor instructions supplied with the game.

Not all it says it will be...
The board is magnetic (other magnets stick to it)... the pieces are magnetic (both chess and reversi pieces are attracted to one another and other surfaces)... but this board and these pieces together do NOT have a strong magnetic attraction. Pieces fall off like there is barely any (or no) hold onto the board.Also, nice to have the ability to put pieces into the back of the board, but it is difficult to open/close for a child and when they try to get the pieces out the other Reversi pieces come out, too.
