Simple but effective way to measure how well soil absorbs water
I used this for the first time during a soil health workshop and it was great. We simplified the measuring process because we were looking for a more rapid practical assessment in commercially grown arable cropping. Its critically important for farmers to check how quickly water infiltrates into their soils.
