Floor Gap Fixer Tool for Laminate Floor Gap Repair Include Suction Cup and Mallet (Can't use on scraped surface floor)

My husband absolutely loved this Floor Gap Fixer Tool, and we were both impressed by how effective it is! We recently noticed some gaps forming in our laminate flooring due to seasonal humidity changes, and this tool proved to be a game-changer.The included suction cup and mallet are great additions and make the job easy enough for DIYers like us. The mallet is sturdy and well-made, and the suction cup works well to pull the planks back together. However, I will say the suction cup does require a little patience. It sometimes takes a couple of tries to get a good grip on the flooring, and if it isn’t firmly attached, it can shift when you use the mallet. Once you get the hang of it, though, it’s not a major issue—it just takes a bit of practice.Despite the occasional suction hiccup, the tool is definitely effective. My husband enjoyed using it and appreciated how quickly he could fix the gaps. It’s an affordable, decent product that does exactly what it promises. If your floors are prone to shifting due to temperature or humidity changes, this is a fantastic solution to keep things looking neat and seamless. Highly recommend it for any DIY flooring repairs!

Woah! works great. I had to move 9 LVP boards to close up the gaps at the entrance to my home. Took about 20 minutes. I cleaned the boards as a precaution. The tool has large surface areas and appears to be quite sticky. So it adheres to the LVP very well, and the included hammer works well . I had tried using a suction cup unit designed to provide a hand grip for shower walls to no avail.Super happy with this tool.

Works great and easy to use on smooth flooring. The handyman was able to fix the gaps in my flooring in a couple of minutes. Great value.

Easy to use, fixed my first gap very fast. Impressed with the job it did. I thought it would leave a gap on the other side of the piece I moved and that I'd have to move a couple of more, but it did not leave any new gaps.

I installed laminate flooring in a small bedroom, and it worked great. However, when I tried to use it on the floor in the hallway, it was too textured and didn't work. Check your floor carefully before you order.

My LVT has subtle wood grain texture. I had seen reviews that said these only work on perfectly smooth surfaces. While I did eventually close my floor planks, it took a lot more time and effort than it would have on a perfectly smooth surface. The suction is OK for a few hits with all of my body weight pushing down on it before it starts sliding and needs to be re attached.Again, it did work eventually, but it is true that these are truly best designed for smooth surfaces. Even subtle micro-texture will negatively affect the suction.But for the price, it may be worth trying even if you’re on the fence like I was.

Our laminate flooring developed a little gap so this helped close it. Works so well you’ll be banging on hardwood all night long!

I'm installing laminate flooring for the first time in my home and it's been....challenging. Needless to say I've had some gaps that have needed fixing. I've tried all the online tricks and then gave in and purchased this tool. Don't do the tricks, just buy this. I also started using this when installing the flooring and it's helped tremendously rather than just using the tapping block for tight spots or awkward places or smaller pieces. You get the jist, just order it. It's inexpensive, and a tool you'd use over and over if you have laminate flooring.
