When you say Karcher, you don't really need to say anything more. Karcher is synonym with German quality. But just in case you aren't a happy owner of Karcher products here's my honest review:As always with Karcher I am really impressed by the build quality of this ash hoover. You can't go wrong with Karcher. You can see there was proper thought put in the design process. I am a bit of a hoover maniac and I owned a few hoovers over the years. This is not a Made in China hoover like many others.Now, regarding the low suction power, this is normal when hoovering woodburner ash as it is really fine and in the whirlwind created inside the canister the dust particles will clogg the filter slightly. But if you follow exactly and I mean EXACTLY the filter de-clogging process, it will clear your filter and the suction will go back to normal.It is a pleasure to use this vacuum and it can clean my woodburning stove in a matter of seconds.It comes with 2 extension tubes and a hard floor accessory. The flexi tube has a metal liner massively improving on safety. Even if you hover hot ash by mistake your hoover won't catch fire as everything that comes into contact with the hot ash is made of steel. The instructions say that you shouldn't hoover hot ash and you should let the stove cool down before hoovering.It has a really large metal container that is actually the body of the vacuum and you can hoover plenty of ash before emptying it.The AD 4 premium has a set of 4 wheels and it is easy to move around. On the weight side it is not too heavy.It is rather large compared to other hoovers and I nicknamed mine R2D2 because of the resemblence to the movie character ;)Storage might be a problem.After registering the product on the Karcher website you get 24 months of warranty. You can get an extra 12 months if you buy it straight from the Karcher website. This was valid when I registered my product on the website.Worth mentioning is that this is a bagless canister dry hoover. It is not designed to hoover liquids.The only question I still have unanswered is how many hoovering cycles does it need until the filter needs replacing.As soon as I find out I will let you know.BTW this is not a sponsored review, I bought the hoover with my own money and this is my personal opinion regarding this product.Regarding the price, it is a bit more than other ash hoovers but you get a German quality hoover not a made in China one. Also you can use it as normal dry hoover in your house, garage, shed, etc.Later edit: it is now 18th of January 2021 and I had this vacuum for nearly 3 months. Suction is still great, I had to clean the filter 3 times as I had the vacuum full of ash 3 times already. It is helpful to have a clean paint brush to clean the ash from the filter. Kärcher AD 4 Premium Ash Vacuum - does what it says, helps you vacuum up ashes from a fire.We've and open fire and this vacuum does the job fine for the most part, can get into the back corners without having to take out the heavy grate each time. Device has a decent build quality, the caster wheels make for easy manoeuvring, consideration was taken for storing accessories on the vacuum, drum/bucket has remained un-warped/undented so far.We give the item 4 stars as find the internal filter ( ASIN – B009LB5BYE ) would clog up much too frequently, hence we then purchased another 2 so can easily swap out when this happens. (They can be a choir to clear out).We also purchased the nozzle, with aim to help reach into the back, but found it clogged up more often than not in our experiences, we don’t use it anymore. This might be helpful for others.

Having previously owned one of the generic black, oildrum-style ash vacuum cleaners which was heavy, clunky, ran really hot (eventually burning out) and clogged easily... This product is head and shoulders above in every way. It's quite light to carry, filter is easy to unclog with the inbuilt mechanism, very powerful and storage of hose and additional parts well thought out. Makes cleaning the wood burner almost a pleasure!

For clearing out my log burner, this is a dream. No emptying of the ash pan (just suck it all up); no clearing out the grate with a shovel (just suck it all up); and certainly no effort clearing to the back under the grate if you buy the optional long nossle.Likewise, the filtration system works great with no noticeable dust being expelled thanks to the multi stage, self cleaning system.Basically, if something is small enough to fit the end of the suction tune, this vacuum will eat it into the cavernous bin (which after 6 fires is still less than half full).I did have a cheaper ash vacuum before and now regret not buying this model sooner.BTW it's also good for cleaning up DIY mess including brick dust and the such like.

Great ash hoover I’ve had a few over the years as they keep breaking (cheapo ones) that spray dust into the atmosphere every time you turn it on yes that’s kind 😂 so kinda defeated the object.So I invested Invested in this great bit of kit it’s durable well made ,great filtration system that is separate from the main ash chamber unlike a lot of others. suction is awesome it cleans our stove out within minutes.. (with no hassle)overall would highly recommend just spending a little more for something that’s going to last and not be falling to pieces after the first season of stove maintenance.

This ‘ash vacuum cleaner’ is mot worth the bother to be honest.It blocks up with the slightest bit of ash, which necessitates taking the thing almost apart, bringing clouds of ash dust into the room.There is supposed to be a ‘hose unblocking’ feature, which very rarely works. Mostly this just blows off the rear filter (and thus blows yet more ash dust into the air).It comes with one attachment, which clearly states ‘not for use on carpets’, but the attachment is way too big to be of any use in a wood stove or a domestic open fireplace, so one is forced to pay extra for a narrow nozzle, which I did (don’t bother. It’s as useless as the rest of this thing).The machine is very big and extremely heavy in relation to its size. This would be bearable if the cleaner worked as intended, but it doesn’t.I imagine if one has a perfectly flat, smooth open surface and need to suck up some talcum powder, tnen this would be perfect. For anything else, avoid it.

Es ist wie ein Schildbürger-Streich. Das gelieferte Gerät hat einen Stecker, der nicht EU-tauglich ist. Der Stecker hat 3 Zinken und passt vielleicht in Hongkong etc.Ich hoffe auf eine baldige Reaktion des Verkäufers.
