POREfection Baked Perfecting Setting Powder

If you look at the pic the number three is the used one and the new one is the three and a half which is supposed to be darker. It's not darker. The consistency and coverage is not the same. It's patchy and chalky. I can't even tell you how many times I bought the number three over the years and so disappointed with this three and a half probably fake powder that I spent over $30 for. I'm honestly gotten Dollar Store powder back in the day that was better than this. The number three was always so perfect phenomenal great coverage great color. It was a 10 out of 10. Don't get the 3.5

I’m a powder foundation lover. I always hated the way liquid foundations feels. For the past 5 years or so I’ve used the Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin, but it has been discontinued and became harder and harder to find since they aren’t making new units. While slowly using up my stockpile of Better Skin, I’ve been trying SO many powder foundations, both high-and and drugstore brands, and even a few with Salicylic Acid in them like the Better Skin. None of them have come CLOSE to looking as good on my oily, acne prone, textured, problematic skin. Until now!This foundation is IT for me. Quick easy light medium coverage, great staying power, doesn’t settle into lines, make dry patches look worse, or separate on my skin at all even after wearing outside in 90 degree weather or for my 12 hour nursing shifts. I like to put some concealer on my discolored areas before this foundation to boost the coverage power, but that isn’t necessary for every day. It does still look and feel like you are wearing makeup (because you are) but it doesn’t feel or look too heavy or sticky or caked at all.The ONLY downside I have found so far is that the formula is a little bit dusty in the pan, so don’t go swirl your brush with a super heavy hand because you’re just going to make a mess and waste product.Also, it is a little bit on the expensive side (especially if you are used to drugstore products) but I’m willing to spend it for a comfortable good looking makeup routine. I love this foundation! I’m so happy I found it. I used the lightest shade in Better Skin, but I’m using shade 2 in this because shade 1 looked too yellow to me and I’m happy with my choice!

Blurs the pores and gives a lovely finished look that lasts all day! Add a little blush and of course start with a good sunscreen and you'll look great every day!

I really like this product however, for the amount that you get it is a bit pricey, which would be my only complaint!

I am very minimal when it comes to makeup - typically fill in my brows a bit, maybe throw on some mascara, and now this! I had been using another pressed powder that I absolutely loved, and unfortunately it got discontinued. I was on the hunt for something new, and after trying a few other products, I'm sticking with this one. I do not wear any other foundation, and only use this to help with circles under my eyes and just evening out my skin tone. It's very lightweight, and I do find that it's buildable if I ever feel like I need a bit of extra coverage. I do not like makeup unless I feel like you can't tell I'm wearing any, and this does the job. It also does not make a mess everywhere and I've been using it for almost 3 months now and still have plenty left. It has not cracked into a million pieces or anything like other similar products I've tried either.

I found Lorac when on a thorough search for new foundation and powder once I hit an age at which my previous favorite didn’t work well. This powder is lightweight, has great coverage and doesn’t cake. My skin is dry so it is very hard to find. I’ve been using this for a few years now but was motivated to write a review today. I always wear foundation; even on weekend days when the workouts are in the AM, I use a great CC. I got to work, today, and (thankfully) checked my face. It looked different. I suddenly realized I had forgotten to put on foundation! How?! I have never done that in my life. I did the face cream, primer, eye concealer and even blush-no foundation. I live too far to go back home and come back, but may have. I keep this powder and a good brush in my purse, although I rarely need it. I put it on all over with the brush and used a lip gloss to touch up my cheeks. It worked! I couldn’t believe it. The coverage was good and it didn’t look really dry or cakey. (Sadly), our lights are flourescent so it stood a sturdy test.

I fell in love with the lorac contour palette, years ago. It never dawned on me that they sold the powders I liked individually. Anyways this is my first time buying this and it is everything I dreamed it would be. When I put it somewhere to cover something up it does the job. This stays in place I don’t have to keep checking to see if my make up is messed up. And that is my absolute fave to hiding my dark circles under my eyes. It is a little bit more than the drugstore powder. But it is absolutely worth it

… and gets into all the wrinkle crevices on my 70 year old face !! I actually love the product, and would never go out without a flick of that huge big brush round my entire face !!
