It lasted one gardening season and seemed to be doing ok, until it suddenly broke one fine day. Now, I would like to understand how to may invoke my rights related to the 25 year guarantee that hasn’t got very far.

I've reached a point where I can afford a little more than the cheapest, and this spade was a bit of an experiment. Well it paid off - it's noticeably better in so many ways.Folded over top on the blade makes it easier to stamp on to drive through hard ground or rootsBlade with flutes in means it shows no sign of bending and comes out cleanly even when the soil is stickyCurved shaft makes it much more comfortable to dig with and to lift soilRounded handle is much more comfortable on the handsI've seen that the very best tools, the ones that landscape gardeners use, have these factors even more pronounced but I still can't afford those. THis is a good compromise

Again. Excellent piece kit. Had take out some bamboo roots. Cut through without to much trouble and actually took on all the tasks I through at it.So yes! I would recommend this product to all but the building trade and that's only because I had no building type work to do this summer so for the garden buy and let your shoulders, lower back, knees and feet say thank you.

It’s a lovely spade. Unfortunately I can’t use it as the handle is way too long for me. I’m 5ft4. Luckily he is well over 6 ft so he will have to do the digging from now on.

I have had a few garden spades over the years. They have all snapped at some point and I replace with with a different brand that is moderately priced. But I was sick of this and I had bamboo to dig out so I decided I’d invest in something that might last better. It is an amazing fork. Tough and strong, easy to use. It is expensive but it is worth every penny. Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely long handle means I’m not straining to lift plants or weeds. The shape of the tines make digging into compacted soil much easier than conventional garden forks.
