From the Cuddly to the Ferocious - Many Cool Facts
Brrrrr . . . we loved learning about the arctic animals!PROS:- Lots of great arctic animal pictures. Bright and beautiful imagery accompanied each fact. I think it gives children a good perspective since they can put a visual to what their learning about.- Font size was just right for little eyes (not too small). We were able to read it just fine without needing to zoom in on each page.- Fun design layout of the facts. I liked that the facts placement was in a cute, fun to read manner.- Many cool animal facts! There is a lot to learn in this little book. You'll gain knowledge on a variety of arctic animals (perfect for a school supplement)CONS:- The formatting was a bit off for me. Most of the pages were formatted for vertical reading on the Kindle, then you turn the page to see a sideways animal (not all of the animals were formatted in the opposite "direction", but a lot were). It caused us to have to continuously turn the Kindle to properly view them. A slight adjustment would have made this book a bit better for viewing purposes.Overall, we did enjoy reading it and would recommend it to kids wanting to learn some neat information about arctic animals.*I only review products that I am genuinely interested in and have used, tested, tried. My opinion will always be 100% honest - if I love it, you'll know, if I don't, it will definitely reflect in my review. With that being said, I did receive this product for free in exchange for my honest review.*

It was PERFECT!!!!
I received the kindle book - Arctic Animals (Cold Feet): From Penguins to Polar Bears. What a great little book it was exactly what I was looking for. I was babysitting for one of my friends and her daughter was going to stay the night. Due to my children being grown and out of the house *(and both were boys) I was looking for something that we could do together before bed time to allow her to have an easy time going to sleep and also have some fun dreams about animals. I located this little book and thought it would be perfect. It was fun and easy to read the way the author added fun facts about each animal was delightful. The author was able to bring the animal alive with the little bits of information about each animal and they provided a beautiful photo to see what the animal looked like in its natural habitat. The animals to name just a few were the Puffin, Orca, Ringed Seal, Walrus and Arctic Tern. I would recommend this to anyone who loves animals as well as to anyone who has children. It was terrific. Disclaimer: I received this product at a discount in exchange for my fair and honest review. I know how critical truthful reviews can be as I am an avid online shopper, therefore I will always give my honest opinion and use the upmost integrity. great for little kids
Arctic Animals by Speedy Publishing is a good book. It has beautiful pictures that capture these wild arctic animals in their natural state. The book has these at least 1 high quality picture an at least 1 fact for each animal. It has a huge variety of both land and sea creatures included in the information given. The animals present range from ones highly known and popularized, to ones most would never have heard of had they not picked up this book. The animals included are: polar bear, penguin, hooded seal, arctic tern, walrus, ringed seal, orca (killer whale), puffin, arctic wolf, humpback whale, snowy owl, reindeer (caribou), beluga (whale), arctic skua and the arctic fox.My reason for giving this book a 4 rather then a 5 is simply due to the format. I dislike when books jump from picture being presented then information and then the other way around. If you are unfamiliar with a particular animal it can be difficult to differentiate which image goes with which animal. This would be especially prevalent if your little reader is reading this book on their own.I must disclose that I did receive this book at a reduced cost in exchange for a fair and honest review. But please also note that when I purchased this book it was free for any amazon customer. I only give my true opinion for reviews.

Some fun facts about animals that live in the arctic areas of the world.
We "needed" another book to read and I found this free one: Arctic Animals (Cold Feet): From Penguins to Polar Bears (Fun Animal Facts) that had a bunch of animals we love reading about. There are 23 photos of animals in the book- most of oriented sideways, which makes for awkward reading. The photos are good quality images though. The animals covered in this book are: polar bear, penguin, seals, arctic birds, reindeer, whales, walrus, arctic wolf, and arctic fox. Some pages have writing on them- it looks more like a scrapbook page than a book. The writing block is slanted and they have "Fun facts" on all the pages with writing. It feels more like a classroom project compiled together rather than a book. The "fun facts" are just random facts about each animal- nothing ties them together in the book, and there is not continuity through the book. For a free book it's okay, I wouldn't spend money on this though.I did receive this book for free. That did not influence my review.

Great for kids!
This is great for kids and a good medium to educate them on the artic animals. My personal favourites• Artic WolfIt is a subspecies of the grey wolf. They also happen to inhabit some of the most inhospitable terrain in the world where the air temperature rarely rises above -30 degrees. They are also very territorial and have hundreds of miles they can cover as their home range.• Snowy OwlThey have a large assortment of common names ranging from arctic owls to ghost owls. Snowy owls are unusual in that they are diurnal which means they are active during the day.• PuffinThis is a cousin of the penguin and looks like a miniature one with orange feet. They are true seabirds and spend most of their time swimming. They can carry up to 30 fish when bringing food home. The things that I think could be improved are having the pictures of the animals on the same page as the fun facts. Also, the pictures are usually tilted which is quite annoying.I received this product at a discounted price for a non-bias review.
