This is a newer kit that will control three fan speeds plus regular light bulbs (FULL DIMMING FUNCTION) and CFL bulbs (On/OFF function only).

Easy to install and works fine
For a very long time, all I'd ever seen for sale were wall-mounted fan/light controls or hand-held remote control models. We've had issues in the past with someone losing a remote in their room and had no way to turn on the light to even search for it.The Harbor Breeze wall and hand remote set fix that problem nicely. Since I've installed quite a few ceiling fans, replacing the old controls was extremely simple. Basically, you set the codes on the wall and hand-held remotes, turn off power at the breaker, use a multimeter to ensure it's really off, unmount the wall switch and install the wall-mounted remote, then unmount the fan, remove the old control box, install the new one and remount the fan. When you restore power, follow the instructions to send the programming to the control box and that's it.I've never tested this control set with dimmable fluorescents, but it works fine with regular incandescents and LED bulbs.

Installing multiples...
We installed three in our house. Only problem, and our mistake, if you install multiples change the frequency in each one when you install it . Otherwise, one remote will turn on the light/fan in the other room. Pretty comical when you can turn on all the lights in a room at once....not.

Works very well
Works well for a fan with only one hot to the J-box. Daughter loves having full control at her bedside.

Easy all around
Worked out great. Easy install with adequate instructions. Having wall and remote controls is very helpful.

It worked!
Worked well. Just had to remember to program it after installing. Was same size as previous device we had installed.

Works great, but the receiving unit is quite large
Works great, was easy to set up. However, the receiver unit that goes inside the apron of the fan is quite large. I doubt the majority of ceiling fans out there will have room for it inside. It just barely fit in ours after 30 minutes of struggling and cutting out excess wires.
