The packaging and appearance of this Samsung fridge water filter look completely authentic—there’s no obvious way to tell if it’s a fake just by looking at it. The build quality seems solid, and it fits perfectly in the fridge. However, without proper testing, it's hard to confirm if the filtration performance matches the original. If you're buying from third-party sellers, be cautious and ensure it's from a trusted source. So far, everything seems fine!

Avoid this filter. Not for UK fridges.
This is not a UK filter. DO NOT BUY IF YOUR SAMSUNG FRIDGE IS FROM THE UK. It looks correct, but the connector insides are wrong so it leaks and your fridge fills with water. I replaced it with one from Samsung, which was more expensive, but doesn't leak.
