I work at Home Depot so I got this case to protect my phone because I occasionally drop it or move heavy things that bump into my pocket where I leave my phone. When I got this case I felt invincible and it was great! Kind of annoying figuring out how to deal with the air bubble but YouTube helped me figure it out so I'm all good there. After owning this case for about two months it's been well used and it's really scuffed up but the phone itself is fine and I'm grateful for that. My only gripe with it is that the aluminum isnt that thick so after certain drops the frame can get bent but it's not too hard to shape back if you're strong enough or have pliers. But because the frame can get bent, the plug for the charging hole can fall out and I lucky noticed it before I lost the plug otherwise it would have been annoying to have a hike in the bottom of the case exposing my charging port to concrete, dirt, dust, grease etc. Overall I love the case, it's bulky but that means my phone is protected which is what I needed out of it! (Also could come in handy as a bludgeon if needed as it adds what feels like a couple pounds to the phone weight)

Love these cases! Yes, they're a little on the heavy side ~ but that's what "Heavy Duty" means, right? We live in a world of nothing but cement, tile and harsh climate, and these stand up to everything ~ including countless lengthy falls onto very hard surfaces. Super easy to assemble. We got these for all our kids, and as gifts for a few friends as well. Can't go wrong with these, and you adapt quickly to and soon forget about any initial sense of being heavier than lesser phone protectors. We'll take the extra heft for the confident protection these provide!

I am completely happy with this product. I work in a steel shop and never get shavings inside this case!!! I’ve ordered many of these and the worst thing that happens is the paint starts rubbing off. Recently I dropped my phone pretty good and the face shattered. My heart stopped. I removed the case and was happy to find it was just the case and not my phone that shattered. Let me reiterate that it was a significant break!!!! My phone is completely ok and the case did a marvelous job!!! I’m ordering another one right now!!!

The case looks nice and rugged; has quite a bit of weight to it and seems like its built well HOWEVER I would frequently lose signal on my phone when inside a building that didnt have wifi. I also dropped a few calls due to this case. I switched back to a regular case to test my theory and, yep, its THIS case that stifles the signal. Sent back. Nice case if you are at home with home wifi or out and about in the open air, but inside it just didnt work well with my phone.

About par for the course of theses cases, had 4 of them throughout the years. The screen saver is worthless junk so you will need to buy some actually good ones and the mute button will break off so if you need mute go for a different case. every other color other than red will flake off almost immediately. But I’ve dropped my phone plenty of time onto concrete and she’s still chugging just fine with no shatters. The metal frame also holds up very well. The rubber gives it a good cushion and plenty of grip so no problems there. The back is mostly rubber and won’t hold those pop caps on. It also increases the boarders on the sides of the screen but if you have big hands that’s a plus. For $20 it will work just fine

This is an amazing case that take a lot of beating and keeps the phone pristine

i really like the sturdy feel to this case, the extra weight didn't bother me. The first time it fell off my desk the top glass broke

I like this cover and have had quite a few. I love the color of this one which is red as it stands out and makes a statement! My only dislike is they break very easy as this is about the 5th one I've had but it always protects my phone on the inside which is a plus.
