Soccer Innovations Jimmy Skill Training Ball on String

My kids love soccer, but their skills need work, so I purchased the Jimmy Ball for them for Christmas. They haven't stopped playing with it and yes, we do allow balls to be played in the house. Every day I pick different skills for them to practice with the ball. I bought a size 4 for my twelve year-old and a size 2 for 7 year-old. Both balls are perfect and I do see their skills improving.

Very useful and enjoyable tool to get a lot of "touches" on a soccer ball. My daughter and I both have played soccer for years and we both enjoyed practicing with this ball.

I ordered the size 4 ball for my 58", 10 year old daughter. The package came with instruction that said to put the strings around her shoulders, but no specifics on how to adjust all the various pieces of string to get a good fit. Admittedly, I did not go to the web to watch the video referenced in the instructions, but I still figured it out. The ball and attachment is good, but the main problem is that the string cannot be adjusted short enough to hang from my daughter's chest without touching the ground. I tied an extra knot with slack to make it fit, but she still complained about the string feeling "tight" when she kicked the ball. So, after all that, her favorite way to use the ball is holding the string with her hand and kicking the ball.

Both my 12 year old sons LOVE the Jimmy Ball. They haven't put it down since we got it!! One is a striker, and his foot skills and passing have improved exponentially!! The other is a keeper and he loves it as well for perfecting foot skills for "sweeper-keeper".

Fantastic to get your kid some activity even in doors. Great purchase at the beginning of winter and rainy season.

Instructions difficult

I did not like the fact that there was no instructions no nothing came with it .How is a 9 or ten yr old suppose to know how to use it with out any instructions.

Ball deflates too often.
