Q: Can this be put directly on a wound?

My family has used this for wound healing for generations. We make a paste out of fresh, CLEANED, leaves and place in a very well cleaned wound, replace this poultice daily with fresh comfrey paste. Clean the wound well daily. Have never had an infection result. Have healed large wounds with minimal scarring.

Q: Is this really comfrey? it says stevia leaf at top and comfrey leaf on a white sticker on bottom.

mine frpm Starwest botanicsls says "100 Organic comfrey" nothing about stevia - maybe it's not the same one.

dried, but good quality..rather green.
